Loving your videos! Just bought an '07 Silverado!! Just replaced my tail lights and cargo lights with Spyder Black LED Tail Lights! Might have to complement them with this set of headlights!
I replaced my headlamps on my 2009 GMC recently. My truck only has 2 bolts at the top and 1 on the side. This sucks that you had to remove the grill to get to that 4th bolt. Those clamps are hard to remove without breaking the plastic tabs. Glad I didn't buy a Chevrolet. In the end, the headlamps turned out to look fantastic on this truck.
I’ve read a lot of comments on amazon of the headlights and tail lights that are on your truck because I was looking into getting them, and a handful of people were saying they experience water getting in them. Do you have any problem with that ?

Is it true that those lights do not look good at night for his visibility and also I read that if you have a lift on your truck it's going to suck because there is no way to adjust them is this also true before I purchase them you didn't show your vehicle at night
I’ve got an 08 Silverado and I’ve put on the same headlights. Spyder makes matching taillights too, they’re the “C shape” style ones like on the latest GMCs. Looks really updated with the light upgrade 👍

Anyone know much about these spyder headlight housings??? I've read that aftermarket headlights in general are bad quality, and should be avoided with a 5000 foot pole... so, what do people here think???
Your right stay away with a ten foot pole the C lights DRL will burn out in less than a year just read all the reviews I was going to pull the trigger on these but they are junk buyer beware
So... i talked to the Headlight Revolution people, and got a reply via email stating that although they used to recommend aftermarket headlight enclosures, but that they quit, due to the general low quality of said headlight enclosures... however they also went on to say that they do stand behind 1 brand 100% even though they don't deal in that side of the market any more, and just focus on the lights... the brand was 'morimoto'...
One thing I forgot to mention... if you do go the aftermarket route, or even the the from the factory enclosures, you can replace the LEDs with custom setups when they fail... at least I've seen it done here on youtube... thats the specialty of the shop in question on here even... wish i had a link to their channel, or remembered the guys name... ill have to find it and get back to you all...
only thing i hate of these is the cheap conversion to h1 bulbs. you cant reuse oem bulbs or sockets. you have to use the cheap female terminals on there.
Spyder lights are over priced. You can buy acanii lights on Amazon. They are made in the same plant. I ordered spyder tail lights and acanii tail lights same design and the acanii where $100 cheaper and the came from the same distributor. One had a bit fancier packaging and instructions and the other was just a plane jane box.
Durning the daylight in park and running parking lights are on, once I put truck in drive parking lights go out, there for LED bar goes out, only low beams on. Any advice?
So I bought the Angel eye version of these lights. I wired them directly to the Truck wiring Harness. I took the White positive wire, and tapped into the brown wire with the white stripe going down the middle of it. I did the same on the opposite side. The halos Come on automatically with My DRLs. Did I wire them incorrectly? I know they say wire them into your parking lights, but doesn’t that mean that you would just be able to turn on your halos, and not your low beams along with your Halos? Did I wire mine wrong? I have the same color truck 2008 Blue silverado 1500. 6” BDS lift. 35”Nitto ridge grappler Tires. 20x10 Moto metal wheels. Smoked Tail lights, smoked 3rd Brake light. Smoked Spyder Projector CCFL Headlights.
I have an 7 Silverado! It's the classic body though, so they had switched to your body style but kept the cat eye model and named it the classic. About to be a new bed on it, nothing like wet paint
I actually bought those same headlamps for my truck, but I had to send them back because, my dad got me led bulbs for Christmas. The problem was that you can't use stock bulbs on any headlight housings with halo lights! Which is BS, I don't why they manufacture them that way!
nice! was it brown wires on both sides (passenger and driver)? , also on our trucks when you switch the truck into gear the headlight automatically comes on, did you disengage that?
Does anyone know where I can find the harness for this headlight. The led keeps flickering and needs new wiring. I can’t find them anywhere!! I have pretty much the same truck. Same color. 2011. Same headlights but smoked back lights and some moto rims 35 tires.
I've changed my head light housings twice now and I haven't seen that design! I think the next set I buy I'll have to get a set of those! Are they still holding up nice?
Too bad you didn't show how you hooked up the LED wiring to those black and brown ones that would've been more helpful tbh. My issue in how I am going to do it myself right now

I have a rough Country build on my 2011 Silverado and the trucks red with the bumpers and running boards black . I seen these black head lights today and they come with the matching tail lights . Can’t wait to get these on my truck they are awesome . Nice video
I just got my headlights in the mail!! But does the daytime running lights turn off when the headlights come on? Do you have to turn the headlights on manually? The factory headlights I have now, I can’t turn off the daytime running lights.. Im just kind of confused and want to make sure my headlights will turn on when I install these new headlights. should have wired them to an ignition source, daytime running lamps run with ignition, not with parking light. Now you have to have your parking lights on to use them

Next should get a 2013 LTZ grill it has the split in the middle that would follow the lines of the day time running lights .Then just color match it to your pain and you’d be ready to go
Thats not stupid or unnecessary i have to take my fender flares and grill and head lights and tail lights out every spring to make sure i get all the salt and grime from winter washed out of every crack possible
Is there a way to have those amber bulbs off while the drl is on? So if you have your lights set to auto on the dash do the led bars go out once the headlights come on?
I've watch 3 or 4 videos more than once before attempting this install. Everything seemed to work except the Halo and LEDs do not come on as DRLs. The come on when I turn the lights on but not as DRL. Any advice?

2007 ? That has to be the nicest 07 anywhere. Do you know how long that truck will last? I have an 09 work truck. It doesn't look like that. Here in the east of Canada road salt makes a mess of a nice truck. RUST, ON RUST. I had a 94 Sierra last me 20 years then it disintegrated beyond repair.. road salt......very bad news!

incase anyone wants to know, the 4 screws holding the grill on are also 10mm
Wire the DRLs to a fuse (add a fuse) that only gets power with ignition, no need to do anything, just like factory.

FlyRyde is the name of the channel... they do lots of custom sequential and DRL lights...

I replaced mine with Spyder LEDs, didn't have to remove the grille. Your the 3rd person that say you have to remove the grille.
No wiring & mounting of the drives in this video. Everyone leaves the wiring out of their video & that's the most important & difficult task
Got mine today and they came with high beam plug on top on the left and on the bottom on the right clips was broke fitment freaking sucked
two years later, how are your LEDs holding up since hard wiring them into the parking lamps?
They worked fine until I swapped out the headlights for AphaRex USA's

So far so good. I can tell the plastic isn't as thick and durable... but no problems so far.

I want a 2015 Silverado but its 15k so for my first car or truck I want a 2009 so I can do this conversion
