I really like your Soul sand texture. I think it would feel better with different colors on each faces (changing the saturation, maybe?).
I do agree that the sand texture could be better, but I prefer it being "flat", because when there's too much details on sand, deserts don't look as good, imo.
Anyway, you're still doing a great job at making this modpack unique and coherent. Congrats! Keep it up!!
PS : I would love to see what you'll make with the ores textures, and the ingots' blocks versions on them too! ;)
Gringo The saturation thing is certainly an idea, I'll have a mess around with it at least and see if I can make it any better. As for the sand, I spent a whole day trying different ideas and styles and by the end of it I fell out with it ahaha. So the chances are, I'll end up redoing it again at a later date XD
I'm glad everyone seems to be enjoying this series and the textures so far, it's keeping me motivated to finish it!
Also ores and metal blocks are already on the list, ores should be coming up in the next couple of episodes actually :)

Lennart Michalke Planks were next on the list but I could do Netherrack next instead since there's only one nether texture so far. If people would prefer that, I mean they're all going to get done eventually anyway :P

Hey! I loved the video. When I tried making a sand texture, all the blocks were facing different angles so the pattern didn't line up. Is there a way you know of to fix this? are you using 1.8? It works fine on 1.7 but 1.8 doesn't seem to work
