If Cressida, Eloise, and Pen were able to solve their issues and work together, they could have helped Cressida live her single life with some of Pen’s Lady Whistledown funds. Too bad Cressida had to be a nasty loser.

The queen is obsessed, she's LW's biggest fan lmao. I love how they showed Colin getting inspired while Penelope's dreams are dying. As you said it's still like that, women giving up their passions to become mothers, wives while the man flourishes in marriage. Mme Delacroix recognizes Pen as the business woman she is, I think she's happy to have a friend she can relate to.

thank you for noticing how Pen and Eloise's friendship was in past seasons. I feel like a lot of ppl miss that part that Eloise wasn't always the best listener and didn't really pay attention to Penelope. She just loved talking to Pen but never really saw Pen. Im happy that you said this cuz some ppl completely blame Pen for the end of their friendship, but i always try to see both sides and more ppl need to acknowledge that while yes Pen wasn't always the best friend and did some bad things, the same can be said for Eloise
I thought she got blamed for the end of the friendship because of destroying Eloise's rep in Whistledown - pretty much ruined her.
I always said that Penelope is most like her mother among the Featherington girls :DD I wouldn't be surprised if Portia herself, when she was younger was maybe hoping for a love match but was in a situation where she knew how unrealistic that hope was. I bet she sees her younger self in Penelope and that's why she was always more harsh with her.
Yeah. I think she believes Penelope is too innocent and delusional that's why she was trying to discourage her from getting married to not break her spirit until she almost bagged a rich guy then it all went out the window for the family's security and clout. I think Portia's more protective of her also because she's the baby of the family. Pen is free to read, go out at all hours of the night, not actively look for a husband. That might be why the sisters are bitter towards her too. I think Portia was probably never shown love or kindness by her parents so it's just a cycle, but she loves them.
Think if we'll get another 'A Bridgerton Story' series think we'll get one to focus on Portia and Violet? Two young women in their first season, what their views towards marriage before, during and after their weddings are?

I love Lord Kilmartin. People are really just anti black and its sad but oh well. I'm sure he knows he's handsome and such a gorgeous, gorgeous specimen. His smile😍
That's not true - everyone drooled over the Duke. Kilmartin isn't as attractive as the Duke is and he tends to be quiet and boring. The Duke looks like a model though, the Lord is still an attractive guy, people are just being extra because we haven't seen him with much personality yet. But, he's slowly coming out of his shell.
He is gorgeous and I think it is absolutely beautiful how they bond over quietness and stillness. They are a great match and clearly understand each other. She has someone to feel comfortable with. AND she actually keeps on talking when with him, showing her feeling comfortable with him. She feels understood. He is a dream for us introverted people. Just the other day I was discussing with my partner how other people would probably find us boring. But we have the best of time together. At home. Watching a series or playing video games, or with some other hobby.
I think the point of the Mondrich family was to show what the come up is like because when the show first started everyone but them were considered noble and established. They were friends with nobles i.e. Simon, Anthony, and Colin but were very much on the outskirts of the ton because they were never a part of it but now having risen to nobility they serve as an example of what the come up was actually like for a random family. That's why they were included to show the pains of shedding a hard life where you had to work for every scrap of anything you got, to a life where you can sit around all day and worry about your son learning how to set cutlery at the table and watch your daughter mount a horse for the first time. They're meant to be the self-insert for the audience. But he needed to let go of that club because how it got it was through ill-gotten gains from having thrown a boxing match,
Give it up and just be rich, man. That's what I would've said to him. His wife was busy tiptoeing around his pride.
They also showed the featheringtons about to lose everything to a new family too if they don't produce a male heir. It shows that even in wealth there's no security if you mess up. I understand Will's fear to wanna have a plan b believing it's too good to be true.
Also read somewhere that they may be setting up future love story with the Mondrich's son and Hyacinth. Interesting no!?

Eloise hasn't been a good friend to Cressida. She doesn't listen. If she listened, she would see how desperate Cressida is and would have helped. She was like this in her relationship with Penelope. What makes it worse is that she knows the truth about Lady Whistledown and still turns her back on Cressida.
The show can try and make it seem like Cressida is the villain but she isn't one to me; Just like Marina and all the other women in the ton trying to escape or make the best out of their shitty situations. I fully support her.

Ok, so the latest news I have regarding future seasons. Season 4 at least has been confirmed since 2021. Some still wonder if they'll focus on two siblings (re their story in the books) in season 4, no official word who season 4 will focus on (otherwise people think it's time for Benedicts story).
All we know is that we MAY have to wait till 2026 for season 4 since it takes them roughly 8 months to film, and that after that they have all the editing to do and to dub all episodes into all the languages, so it does take a while, plus the cast do all probably have other engagements as well.
So once we've all caught up with season 3, we'll just have to make do with bingewatching it over and over again once a month or once every two months. Or find another show. Or find another form of escape from the day to day worries apart from tv.
I saw people talking about the new episodes and got so excited, I refreshed my home page so many times yesterday just in case you got the reaction out fast lol. I don't really watch this show, but I *adore* your reactions!

I think the reason why Lady Bridgerton and Lady Featherington have an awkward relationship is because back in season 1 Lady Featherington tried to con the Bridgertons into allowing Marina Thompson marry Colin even though she was already pregnant. So Violent don’t really trust her.

So technically there might have been a stage in high society at the time where a gentleman might 'court' a lady, (though it's not entirely accurately portrayed in very minor ways, or the mood of the whole show at least leans more Victorian manners than Georgian/Regency manners, IN MY OPINION. And I'm not mad I'm not asking for 100% accuracy, it's not why we're here, we're here for the JUICE for the DRAMA for the LOOKS.)
But the courtship stage of a couple's relationship would be much like the way Lord Debling pursued Penelope, or how the Duke and Daphne performed their fake-dating scheme in Season One. Debling moved pretty fast, especially if we're used to taking some time to try to really get to know a potential partner before agreeing to an engagement/marriage, but it's not that unseemly for the time period. (Consider the more arranged marriages of the Queen, Lady Danbury, maybe Cressida...Debling is like the rational halfway point between the marriages where people basically know NOTHING about their partner except maybe their worst parts to begin with, and marriages where people are deeply in love and totally soulmates.)
But yeah, Colin and Penelope just SPEEDRAN the courtship stage in however many seconds it took them to get from the spoken-love-confession stage to the intentionally-touching-mouths stage. They're not interested in sending flowers or sitting around in drawing-rooms making small-talk. They wanna GOOOOOOOOOOO they wanna SMASH ASAP.

Well I think it's because their story has been building since s1 so there's not much to explore as far as her love and yearn for him goes. their main storyline was whistledowns exposure imo. Plus I may be wrong but fran got married in Colins story in the books I think🤔.

❤Yeah! Part 2 is MUCH more dramatic, there's sooo much more romance. I don't know how I feel yet about one day watching it all the way through without stopping at episode 4 for a little break. Right now I'm just focusing on part two and not really even going back to part one. But part one is needed to set up the drama part 2! It's so action-packed, that's why all the episodes are over an hour. ❤️
I did a full season rewatch yesterday & really loved it. Not to go into spoilers here but it basically spreads things out a bit better, makes the angst & drama less concentrated.
