Double Deck Truck Loading & Unloading System with Trailer Chain Track System

“How can we maximize the number of loaded pallets with sensible laminate flooring panels into a trailer, while securing individual pallets during transit time?” was the challenging question which Ancra was enfacing.
As the global ATLS specialist with extensive experience on complex automatic loading challenges, we came up with the solution for one of the leading producers of laminate flooring, design & vinyl flooring and wall coverings in Europe.
Ancra was granted with an order to deliver multiple fully automated Ancra Double Deck one-shot trailer loading-/ and unloading systems including corresponding Double-deck Trailer Chain Track Systems to automate the logistics flow between several production sites and their central DC.
DESIGN & FUNCTIONALITY
STATIONARY DOCK SYSTEM
The 15 meters long Double Deck Stationary (Un)Loading Chain System is constructed out of multiple tracks of aluminum extrusion profiles which are supported by painted steel legs. It is suitable for automatically one-shot loading or unloading mixed palletized flooring materials into a 13.5 meters long modified trailer in just 3 mins!
Overall payload is 20 tons, 10 tons per layer.
A 3 level lifting system connects the customers’ feeding line to the double deck's chain conveyor system.
TRAILER SYSTEM
The palletized goods will be automatically one-shot loaded into a modified trailer with an integrated Ancra double-deck chain track system. The trailer system consists of multiple chain tracks which are assembled both on the trailer floor as well as on a second-level steel support.
A unique in-house designed trailer load securing system avoids shifting of the palletized flooring panels during the transit time, even encountering roads with a 5% slope!
