He deserves harsher punishment for defying a court order. If he was not a wealthy celebrity he would have been jailed, fined, lost his job, etc years ago. Tyrese has refused to pay child support and had the exact same issues with both his ex wives, lawyers, judges, the court systems, etc. He’s playing victim and noone is buying anything he says!

Marriage isn’t the issue in this case. Child support is. Men need to understand this. A prenuptial agreement only sets out what the wife gets. It has no bearing on the children. Courts do not take prenuptial agreements into consideration when setting child support.

@missamerica2694 - The Lead Attorney said the Georgia judge applied a child support standard based on what Tyrese was ordered to pay for his first child in California. That is improper. And if Tyrese is willing to continue to fight it he very likely would win an appeal and maybe even help to lead some much needed family court reform.
Lots of good people have been arrested and jailed by some corrupted police and judges. Over the long term, Tyrese being jailed may prove him to be less a villain and more a hero.

Why is the courts trying to crack the pre-nup and send Tyrese to jail? Its because of those high administrative fees that a high earner like Tyrese generates for the state.

It’s that no one believes us over women when we go to court. And if you believe men don’t have a desire to be full time. I'm a single dad of twins. My kids have never went without even though I'm not a celebrity. I was divorced when my twins were 3. For ten years I had the family court system taking 85% of my income. Let me say that again. Even though in Pennsylvania the law is that the court cannot take more than 55% of a man's income for child support, they "TOOK" 85% of my income and I still had arearse owed. Had to pay all legal fees(mine and hers)!
What people need to understand is government incentivises women to leave you and remove Dad from the household. It pays better! Family court could care less wether Dad can afford to put a roof over his head. They don't care.
It took 10 years until me ex was 42 years old to convince her to remove the courts from our arrangement and to deal adult to adult regarding our kids.

What MOST people don't know is that every state gets paid an administrative fee from the federal government to "administer" child support. That admin. fee is based on the total amount of child support ordered and collected in the state, the more child support ordered and collected the higher the administrative fee received from the feds. Child support was to ONLY be for fathers whose kids are receiving Social services (welfare, ebt, food stamps etc.). States were\are receiving so much "administrative" fee money from the federal government that they expanded the program to include ALL men whose baby mamas walk through the courthouse doors even if the kids were rich and not on social services. The states also jacked up the dollar amount of the child support orders to outrageous amounts and violated numerous constitutions rights just to increase the administrative fees they receive from the feds. Child support is a state sponsored scam.
Guess what all we do is talk about it. If they boldly did what you are claiming it’s because they know we will never organize ourselves against it.

I don't get what the point of jailing someone for CS is? They aren't going to pay while they are in there? it's essentially blackmail. Being able to hold someone hostage to the system. I will never understand these women who can't act like adults and work it out without involving the law. My daughter's dad put himself on CS. I only asked that he help when needed for extra's and that's it. He promised to pay a certain amount and then he ended up married with more kids a few years later. That CS the HE obligated himself to pay, ended up getting backed up to over 40k. What did I do? I dropped it. Even though he was the one that promised it, I knew he and his family still took her, still provided for her (at their home) and he has been an active father. Had I pursued that 40K, it would've affected his life in ways that would also affect my daughter and her half-brother & sister. It wasn't about me. It was about my daughter and what was best for her. She has two good homes, and her security is more important than a payday. These women need to start growing up and stop looking for men to support them through a child. Stop weaponizing children. They want to be independent on someone else's dime and that should not ever happen.

Back in the early 2000s, I was out of work for a while. I finally found a job and did what I was supposed to do. Because I had to put a week in the hole on my job, they put out a warrant for my arrest. I was locked up, and had to pay a $5,000 purge to get out. Which at the time I didn't have. After all that was over, a child support worker said that they wasn't suppose to lock me up. I was put on child support in the first place because I didn't buy Tommy Hilfiger and Jordans. "You don't want your son to look nice" is what the grandmother of my son said. I bought nice Walmart cloths, and the BM said, "He's not wearing that 💩 ". I had to stop my business that I was starting because business was slow, I was just starting out and I had to pay weekly child support. I had other mouths to feed also. So yes! If I had it to do over, I wouldn't look her way, nor be around her presence!

Each state is different, but it's generally the same concept. He got jailed for contempt (he agreed to a payment in the court and signed the contract with the family courts). SO when he didn't pay, they got him for contempt. Research brother! Remember, "Ignorance is no excuse for the law!"
