@@dL-fy4fg Flagg's floor is probably still being a quality starting PF given his size and athleticism and I'd take that in a second. Anthony Davis and Kyrie were both really hyped HS players too, Davis maybe even moreso than Flagg, and they turned out to live up to it. Though you'll get the Austin Rivers types too who look amazing in HS and then can't even hang in NCAA much less NBA.

Riley's biography SPECIFICALLY STATES that LeBron walked into his office and asked him if "he ever got the itch to coach again". Riley shut LBJ down quick, fast and in a hurry. He told LBJ that Spo was the coach and not to jump ranks. LBJ supposedly walked out and kinda scratched his leg while looking back at Riley, referencing "The itch".
Go through LBJ's teams, see how many have fired their coach within 1-2yrs of signing him... Miami's the ONLY team that didn't. He's the DEFINITION of "Coach Killer" and I understand why so many teams cave to his influence. However, even after we lost Wade and LeBron PLUS the nightmare that followed with Bosh's contract(no fault of his, no blame there!), we STILL remained playoff regulars thanks to Spo and Riley.

DM is one of my absolute favorite ballers right now. So much to love about his game. That said... the Heat don't really need him unless I'm missing something, the Sixers could use him but I just don't see it, the Lakers could def use him and would be wild with him in a very good way and they'd likely only need to give up a pick plus a couple role players that the Hawks could def use, and the Knicks might be the strangest angle only to tie with the Pistons, of course.

I can only say if trae is not the hawks problem if he joined with a real superstar and still impact the game. Just like lebron and ad, dame and giannis, kyrie and luca, both still impacts the game even with another superstar on the team.

Nah. Not with Dejounte's contract. Plus his beef with Paolo would make it extra difficult. It's not like the Magic are a contending team looking for a final piece to get them over the hump. They'll be better off just letting these young guys develop.

Honestly, I think the Hawks problem is Trae and not Murray. Trae is one of these guys who put up crazy stats only to lose in the playoffs. He is terrible on defense and freezes out teammates too often. He is a lot like Harden in that sense. I think that if they were to trade Trae and keep Murray, they would get at least 10-15 extra wins a year, assuming they get all-star value back for Trae.

Plus if Ham (or whoever the Lakers coach is) wants to keep benching DLo, at least a definitive better player in Murray would be playing ahead of him. Yes Reaves would be the one I think to be sent to the Hawks, but I have long felt that it’s really over-under in terms of who’s better or more impactful when it comes to DLo or Reaves

I think Trae Young has reached his limit. He had his time to shine when the NBA was still in transition however he hasn't done enough to compensate for his lack of defence and what's worse is that he's even stagnating on offence.
If I was a Hawks fan I would look to trade Trae Young instead. Not because he sucks too bad but because Atlanta will never be able to give him the support he needs.

The Lakers don’t have the right trade package for the Hawks to benefit for the future. The Lakers sold most of their picks from the Davis trade(completed) Rui and RW trades last season. Any picks involving the Lakers now will likely be pick swaps and picks in the 2030 decade.
