Great video Sawyer! Thorn Rose shows more promise at higher levels. Hammer Slam having a slowdown before the boost really helps keep her from being broken. I think they should add that to Tail Strike and Laevatien Lunge. Hope you are doing well! ❤️
The slowdown on Hammer Slam can be a big hinderance if used poorly, but there are ways to both make it useful and counteract it to make better use of the boost.
A great use for the slowdown is to intentionally use it to let nearby opponents that are ahead of you get within range of the hedge maze trap so you can spring it on them with little to no room for them to avoid it.
Once they’re hit, the boost will kick in just in time to launch you past them while they’re still suffering from the flower effect.
Now, if you want to counteract the slowdown to better use the boost, use Hammer Slam after boosting off a dash pad.
The speed from the dash pad will counteract the slowdown, only making you move close to Thorn’s standard top speed instead of intensely slowing you down until the boost activates and rockets you forward.
Doing it this way will help in maintaining or even gain a bigger lead on the opponents.

Buen video Sawyer. Rose Espinosa es un personaje un tanto balanceado, quizá buen personaje a nivel alto. A mi parecer es algo justo el pequeño "retaso" que tiene el personaje antes de tomar impulso.
Y respecto a tus calificaciones, creo que son más o menos justas y acertadas; ya que es cierto que algunos personajes a niveles altos pueden llegar a ser bastante buenos. Saludos Sawyer :)
Nice video Sawyer. Thorn Rose is a somewhat balanced character, perhaps a good character at high level. In my opinion, the little "delay" that the character has before gaining momentum is something fair.
And regarding your qualifications, I think they are more or less fair and accurate; since it is true that some characters at high levels can become quite good. Regards Sawyer :)

Hej Sawyer! I agree with your ratings and like them a lot👍 have waited for your opinion about Thorn Rose for a while, cause I also thought it would be better and feel disapointed. I even bought a Vault for her and then it turned up to be just a good special char🙄 keep making "rating" films. They are very useful my friend😊
I'll confess I'd have preferred to have her broken a bit, I agree I also expected more from her. I'm not too interested in unlocking her. 4.5/10

Tus calificaciones son muy buenas Sawyer nunca he dudado de tus calificaciones, para mi no es tan mal personaje su trampa y su primer ataque son buenos sobre todo el tercer ataque de las lianas, yo le doy un 6.5 bueno por la trampa le sube a 7.

I think Thorn Rose is bad a character because unlike BMS she doesnt have a common sense of gameplay. We all know how BMS players always play, they will try to get in 1st somehow then spam trees. Yes it is so annoying but at least you know what he is up to. In Thorn Rose, i think her main attack is pretty weird and doesnt have much use, people who are using it(at least the ones i ran up to) just plays random, uses their skills without thinking and ruins races. I really dont like seeing Thorn Rose in races because its imposibble to predict how she is gonna play. I dont approve Thorn Rose(all of this are my personal opinion)
Yeah Sawyer u r speaking facts even on low level characters because upgrading some characters in this game doesn’t make any difference other than the rings u start with and most like that the boosts for the characters other than any item, like upgrading regular Sonic’s boost or the wind boost it still trash it doesn’t change anything! Short and has no damage or invincibility that’s what I hate the most having a boost that doesn’t give u any advantage or doesn’t have any durability even after the upgrade. I know I’m being specific here but I’m trying my best to explain my point but shortly, u don’t need a high level characters to judge on because u don’t want to waste ur rings on an unworthy character :D

Atencion: Esto es solo mi opinión:
El Martillazo es un ataque meh, pues no hace tanto daño, y la mecánica de retroceso no sirve de mucho ya que el impulso no es muy largo.
El boost es bueno, pues no solo tiene una buena velocidad y duración a su 100%, ya que genera un efecto sorpresa, pues puedes activarlo antes para generar daño rápido a tus oponentes.
La trampa es de las mejores, sobre todo cuando te la ponen en la cara.
Respecto a tus opiniones, no son pura tontería ya que al fin y al cabo es tu opinión y se respetan.

Thank God she slows down when mini boosting. But I still don’t why they gave her Hedgemaze? Personally I’d rather deal with Lilytrap than Hedgemaze 🗿
I guess you coudl say, that she's imo kinda a busted Char with Jungle Run and Hedgemaze my Friend Sawyer Forces. However, Hammer Slam makes her balancable because of the Slowdown before the Mini-Boost, but she can be also annoying to spam Hedgemaze atP (at this Point). I'd rate her on A Tier. ❤
And btw u don’t have to upgrade an op character to a very high level because they r most likely to get nerf. Don’t upgrade an op characters and expect no changes to not have the same trauma like what u had when supers got a deadly nerf :)
