Hey, bought the OC version of this card, and I am quite happy with it. In terms of temperature it's actually pretty good I would say. I have a Corsair 4000D Airflow with 6 Corsair QL120 fans, so probably in cases with more limited airflow temperatures will be higher. Playing cyberpunk 2077 for example, 1440p ultrawide with ultra settings, path tracing with DLSS quality enabled I get 74 fps and the card goes to 65º C. If I use MSI afterburner and undervolt it, I get 72 FPS, almost less 90W TDP and card is around 55/56º C! Not bad for a very standard RTX 4070 TI Super model.
@@novalovan yes, it does not look super premium.. it is a massive cooler with a plastic build around it. No fancy RGB effects. It is not loud at all when you are not playing or doing anything GPU intensive, but if you crank the fans to higher RPM you will feel the noise. From my testing, stock with no UV it never goes higher than 65°. With UV done in MSI afterburner, card temperatures drop to 50 something, so the fans don't need to spin that fast and it is less noisy. So far I can say I'm quite happy with this purchase.
@@novalovan I have the Verto OC, so I don't know about the xlr8 version. The Verto is a MSRP version of the RTX 4070 TI Super, so for the price it's not bad, specially because I got it about 150€ cheaper from the normal retailers.
MSI cards often come with a factory overclock, which means the MSI variant might have a slight edge in performance out of the box. Some PNY models might offer overclocking headroom, but likely not to the same extent as MSI.
Just got myself a PNY card 4070Ti Super. Little bit regret after the purchase. I did some research after the purchase, which should be done beforehand Lol. PNY 4070Ti Super has the highest temperature while gaming, noise level of fan and GPU is in mid-tier. PNY offer the cheapest price out there. On the hand, Gigabyte is only 50$ AUD more expensive, but has better temperature control and better noise level, better look as well. Can you justify these?
In my opinion no. The card power draw holds it back, my friend has this specific card and it heats up like crazy and I think its because the fans are legit small and thin compared to other pny models. I would recommend 1920 x 1200 or 1440p. But the more i see this card the more it feels like it was meant for 1080p max setting card. But thats just my opinion
My 4070Ti Super developed coil whine after a month of use, something to consider if that's an issue for you. Otherwise, it's a great card when it comes to performance.
Just got this card upgrading from a 1660 ti! Crazy upgrade, 3 months ago I updated my 4790k to 7800x3d what a new world I'm in now.

Yes i use the 4070 ti super as my daily driver and it's damn near flawless.
