I am addicted to something really bad and I know it is not right. I struggled with it for many years but I just can't get rid of it. I promised the lord this time that I will not do it again because it is hindering me from getting closer to God . I felt really guilty and suffered a lot. I really need prayers right now pls help me. This song is so beautiful. What I'm about to say is not directly involving this song but this song among many other things helps me feel the holy spirit in my heart. I feel moved to tell everyone who is a believer and follower in Christ to tell everyone that God is alive in us just as much now as he has ever been. He is not fading from us, but I think people today are fading from Him and I see it more and more. I live it every day I go to my high school and it breaks my heart to hear what people say about God. I used to sing in a worship band for many years. We once sang this song at a christian festival and I was singing the lead. It was a warm summer day we had a big campfire infront of the stage ....and then suddenly the rain pours down wildly like a storm but it was still warm and soo beautiful and it was like a sign of God. What I felt in this moment was the most beautiful feeling I have ever felt.

What I'm about to say is not directly involving this song but this song among many other things helps me feel the holy spirit in my heart. I feel moved to tell everyone who is a believer and follower in Christ to tell everyone that God is alive in us just as much now as he has ever been. He is not fading from us, but I think people today are fading from Him and I see it more and more. I live it every day I go to my high school and it breaks my heart to hear what people say about God. I'm sure many of us can agree when I say sometimes it is overwhelming and we feel outnumbered. But I say that we need to stand up for Jesus like he did for us the day he died for us on the cross. It is so amazing how he said before he died, "forgive them for they know not what they do". He said that after all of what happened to him. After all the torture and suffering, He still loved and forgave. So I want to say that the least we can do is love and forgive as well and stand up for Jesus and what he did. Help to share the story of His love to others so that they might come to believe as we have. We as believers are disciples need to help spread God's Word. For he says in the book of Matthew 10:33,"But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven". I used to sing in a worship band for many years. We once sang this song at a christian festival and I was singing the lead. It was a warm summer day we had a big campfire infront of the stage ....and then suddenly the rain pours down wildly like a storm but it was still warm and soo beautiful and it was like a sign of God. Being able to place your life in God's hands and trust him takes a lot of courage, to be able to let go and become immersed in his wonders, and trusting that he's going to give you strength to keep on breathing while you're submerged in the ocean of his love, and the storm of his will.
Another thing my mom always said, is that God will give us the deepest desires of our heart - because he put them there after all! So in trusting him, and allowing ourselves to be still in his gracious tempest, we know that he will be good to us.
What a paradox that God should be a raging storm, but also that still small voice of calm.

Faith Tremblay Hey I know life can be pretty hard! I actually came to know Christ in the moment where everyone and everything turned their back on me. The only one I could turn to was Christ. But the Lord is always faithful! In that moment where I had no one, Christ was there. When I lost those that I loved, Christ was there. When my life fell apart around me, Christ was there! i have struggled with a very heavy depression for years, and at times it is hard for me to know that god loves me, but this song makes me so happy...the verse and just the worship in itself reminds me of how heavy god's love is for me. Amen.

Its really an awesome feeling being around people my age in this school and everyone is singing worship songs. Everyone showing there love for God and its really a beautiful thing to me .
When I was a worship leader through my years of youth group I loved this song and used this for open worship. My dad was the pastor and life wasn’t as perfect as everyone thought. I had gone down a dark path and went through the motions. This song helped me so much when my friend passed away. I’ll always have a heart of worship and this song brought me back. Reminded me of my first love.
I really needed this right now.
