- Beloved pop band Stereolab ended their run in 2009, but front-woman Laetitia Sadier continues to release notable music as a solo artist. We hear it live on Morning Becomes Eclectic. Watch / Listen to the full session here: www.kcrw.com/mu...
She never lost it after Stereolab. My favorite female artiste by far.
WAY agree !!...Stereolab has been on my TOP 5 since Day ONE !!
Always loved her music, always will.
She's magic.
man, I love her voice.......
been obsessed w stereolab. can't believe I'm just hearing of Laetitia and stereolab
Just a sweet classic voice - feels like home.
still in love
I love her.
Her voice never fails to put me at ease

Are there any vices that you find yourself troubled by?
@@MokkaMatti such a stupid response lol
Her voice remainds me so much of Nico
Superb !
Lovely!
Great stuff
very nice
Estou conhecendo esta Cantora hoje e gostei da voz delicada dela. Dizem que ela imita a Cantora Brasileira "Astrud Gilberto",será?Achei ela autêntica.
eu acho a voz dela bem única.
quando eu ouvi a canção "campfire" do tyler the creator pela primeira vez eu reconheci a voz dela (sem ver nos créditos)
Laetitia plays the guitar like my mom. :)
its actually extremely difficult to play this way (high to low rather than low to high), i know this because when I first started i played the same way for a few months then just learned how to play normally
Beautiful. And I totally relate to the lyrics. I'd love to know who is this Sue that she mentions, I'm guessing some mathematician friend of her.

nice
dude what happened to the other stereolab performance with you guys ???
????????
Yep, the 2008 in-studio performance by StereoLab on their last tour for the Chemical Chords. IMHO, their renditions of the songs in-studio were superior to the album production. I wish that KCRW would make that recording available again. It is truly a great representation of the band's capability.
Didnt they have a different female singer also? I dont know their history.
the band stereolab had a backing voacalist, Mary Hansen, who died in 2002. This is Lætitia's solo project post stereolab
Mellow..
Her bandmate kind of looks like one of the Avett brothers from a far :D
This is really nice but Laetitia's guitar playing looks carpal tunnel inducing!
😆
she's playing the guitar upside down i think?! :O
not like hendrix! its literally upside down, he just played it lefty
but if you look closely, you can see that the lower strings are the thicker strings! so, its probably upside down. also, her tabs make more sense if you flip the screen 180 degrees ;D
Yes. if the thick strings are at the bottom - she "played it left hand" like Ziggy and Hendrix, rather than left hand and restrung a-la Paul McArtney.
No. Is a lefty guitar
Yes, the guitar is literally upside down, no restringing, nothing. The cable jack, volume and tone knobs must be very uncomfortable to rest one's arm up against for extended periods of time! To say nothing of accidentally turning the knobs up or down in the middle of the song.
Laetitia will you marry me?
optimat prime get in line!
Tyler brought me here
Wizzhard the creator?
Yeah homie
same!
I was about to say i fell in love, but we're all made to love apparently :)

@@MokkaMatti Took me 12 years to re-calibrate. You right, you right.
@@MoogerTuber yep, it is :)
