Bayonne, NJ drive: Avenue E and Avenue C (4K)

Driving south along the whole length of Avenue E (from the Interstate 78 traffic circle all the way the 8th St light rail station), and then up half way through Avenue C. Spring 2023.

TY so much for this tour of Bayonne. 2nd drive thru I've just watched here. You passed the Bayonne Hospital on Ave E & I was born there in the 1950's. You also passed the old Maidenform Building on Ave E that my mother worked at as a seamstress in the late 1930's. My parents were married in St Henry's which you passed on Ave C. I have a photo of those same steps of their wedding picture. Well, fast forward, my immediate family is now deceased & with the exception of 1 cousin they all are long gone from Bayonne. We left Bayonne around 1966. Many flashbacks here during your drive through, even though much has changed (especially on Ave E). TY again for this drive into a long gone era for me.

Thanks. I'm glad this video and others we have here brought back memories for you. There are some parts of Bayonne that have barely changed in decades, and others where old buildings have been repurposed as apartments. Better than knocking down, I say.

Your drive around is gr8 but 1 think that piano music isn't doing anything for this vid , I would rather hear the traffic

Thanks. I'd love to just have traffic sounds too. But I'm often in the car with the kids, taking calls or listening to podcasts or music. Hence the need for me to put take out the original audio and then put in music.
