It’s weird. We all know Hooxi is bad individually. But for whatever reason I always see Snax make some stupid decision or throw away an advantage for G2 way more than Hooxi ever did. Hooxi knows he’s terrible, so he’ll at least try to be the human meat shield for Niko or Monesy, but Snax never does this. He’s terrible, but unlike Hooxi, he’s not selfless. New IGL is needed for G2, especially when Niko leaves.
Hooxi did that a lot too. So many pointless peaks or pushes with zero trade potential over and over again. But to be fair hooxis midrounds looked way more confident.. With Snax G2 looks really hesitant and nervous in fast midround situation. Maybe thats something they can work on, but I'm not holding my breath.

His calling was spot on, especially those push rounds on Nuke and Inferno, and he also ocasionally had life games

Blad3 and Aleksib were eating them alive in terms of strats.

I know we should give rosters time but this is just not it. Hunter shod really give in to the igl role since he's been asked so many times or just leave. He cant consistently keep up with the trio of Niko Monesy and Malbs. And snax was supossed to be an upgrade (he isn't). Should get a proper fifth as fast as they can on the first ocassion. And Malbs needs to be a bit better than this he kinda struggels to consistently put up decent performances and Niko is currently doing better than him

Imagine G2 without monesy. They will be tier 2 team at best. It just makes all the more impressive of blade and alexib work in NaVi. No star player. No nth. Yet improving a lot while also showing result. ABSOLUTE W.
Niko is overrated honestly he was only good in csgo,in cs2 he is very medicore donk will be goat rifler in CS2. If he finds better team mates. He is already better than niko in his prime but just needs consistency and good team mates.

Also spirit r holding donk they keep changing his playstyle which is the reason he struggled against g2 during ewc and cologne while adopting to new playstyle. If donk would have been in a team like navi/vita niko/malbs/hunter trio would have never won even a single duel against donk in h2h.
Why did G2 pick up Snax a while back? I have watched every pro game he has played with G2 and honestly he has only very rare important contributions. I am not a hater, just curious why they chose him. Malbs seems to make an impact frequently. Anyway, gg to both teams.
Round 8, people are so quick to blame on hunter, but in reality it was just bad calls and decision-making on the side of G2. They had 25 seconds on the outskirts of A, by the time they even try to push in, there's only like 12 seconds left. They had no idea whether it would only be 2 people in there, so they rushed in like that thinking there would be a minimum of 3 players at least because that is the default set up for Inferno CT side. I mean, it's just sloppy from them trying to clear the site with only that amount of time left and then safe plant. Against a team like Navi, this is unacceptably desperate. Time management is important in day to day life but even more so in Counter-Strike. You have to give yourself enough time to clear sites and still have time to plant without relying purely on mechanical skills. G2 would benefit a lot more if they have more time practicing together and piecing together strategies. Snax took on all the blame despite only being in the team for 2 months alongside Malbsmd which is completely unfair to them. Malbsmd also lack a lot of experience on crowded events, which will be remedied by playing more. Taz I think deserves more of the blame considering he's been there for 9 months and yet the value of his coaching is lacking to say the least. Even in comms, there's nothing significant other than words of encouragement. I'm not saying all coaches should be tactically genius like Blade, but he should at least provide some change of strategy if he sees a certain pattern or ways to breakthrough. Shifting all the micromanagement onto Snax when they need direction on what to do just seems inefficient. All in all, G2 played well against other teams with pure firepower, but against teams like Vitality and Navi they are not there yet. With more time building up, they should be stronger than before.

I know we should give rosters time but this is just not it. Hunter shod really give in to the igl role since he's been asked so many times or just leave. He cant consistently keep up with the trio of Niko Monesy and Malbs. And snax was supossed to be an upgrade (he isn't). Should get a proper fifth as fast as they can on the first ocassion. And Malbs needs to be a bit better than this he kinda struggels to consistently put up decent performances and Niko is currently doing better than him

G2 playstyle have change a lot because of taz ,they play like old vp and esc gaming on csgo and 1.6 .same tactics being super aggressive on ct side especially on dust2. Taz invented this play style and found success on lots of tournaments in decades on both cs1.6 and csgo. I think it work pretty well on g2

Also spirit r holding donk they keep changing his playstyle which is the reason he struggled against g2 during ewc and cologne while adopting to new playstyle. Btw he is the best player in the world as of right now and niko is barley top 5. If donk would have been in a team like navi/vita niko/malbs/hunter trio would have never won even a single duel against donk in h2h.

Why did G2 pick up Snax a while back? I have watched every pro game he has played with G2 and honestly he has only very rare important contributions. I am not a hater, just curious why they chose him. Malbs seems to make an impact frequently. Anyway, gg to both teams.

Round 8, people are so quick to blame on hunter, but in reality it was just bad calls and decision-making on the side of G2. They had 25 seconds on the outskirts of A, by the time they even try to push in, there's only like 12 seconds left. They had no idea whether it would only be 2 people in there, so they rushed in like that thinking there would be a minimum of 3 players at least because that is the default set up for Inferno CT side. I mean, it's just sloppy from them trying to clear the site with only that amount of time left and then safe plant. Against a team like Navi, this is unacceptably desperate. Time management is important in day to day life but even more so in Counter-Strike. You have to give yourself enough time to clear sites and still have time to plant without relying purely on mechanical skills.
G2 would benefit a lot more if they have more time practicing together and piecing together strategies. Snax took on all the blame despite only being in the team for 2 months alongside Malbsmd which is completely unfair to them. Malbsmd also lack a lot of experience on crowded events, which will be remedied by playing more. Taz I think deserves more of the blame considering he's been there for 9 months and yet the value of his coaching is lacking to say the least. Even in comms, there's nothing significant other than words of encouragement. I'm not saying all coaches should be tactically genius like Blade, but he should at least provide some change of strategy if he sees a certain pattern or ways to breakthrough. Shifting all the micromanagement onto Snax when they need direction on what to do just seems inefficient. All in all, G2 played well against other teams with pure firepower, but against teams like Vitality and Navi they are not there yet. With more time building up, they should be stronger than before.
