How about a "Way Too Early Prediction of Week 1 Must-See Matchups?"
This is based on either spring football highlight analysis, recent news clippings, new/current coaches + transfer players, etc.
1. Clemson vs. Georgia
Georgia fell short last year. Will they send a message across the league with their stout defense and potential QB Heisman arm in week 1? How deep into their playback will they go, or will they be patient (i.e. Alabama)? Will Clemson spoil their parade and pull off an upset. How can the coaches attack Georgia's weakness, if any? Your score prediction and why?
2. Colorado vs North Dakota State
North Dakota lost their prized head coach (Mike Entz to USC). But their core coaching staff/players seem intact. Can their slow, power football style fizzle out the 5 star glitzy Colorado football roster? Will they dampen Deion's aspirations for another Cinderella run in year 2?
3. LSU vs. USC
Will USC's defense show up in 2024, or was the recent hiring all smoke and mirrors? Is this the year where Lincoln Riley finally shines, or will rumblings of his exit creep into the 2024 headlines. What can Brian Kelly do to frazzle a new defensive squad learning the ins and outs of a new playbook? Score prediction and do you think USC will establish itself as a serious brand in the new Big Ten?
