Assassin is amazing in the right hands with invisibility, you can 100% crit 3x when you fully charge your blade when invisible and the cooldown is pretty quick too. Also not having aggro on you and resetting your armor while invisible is pretty op.
tbf, doppleganger is pretty reliant on weapon. The clones themselves have infinite mana, so slap them with something high damage high consumption and you've basically got two drones with nukes. Plus, with doppleganger I feel like you have to play a bit more like engineer, where you clear and are and slowly take over territory in a room with your ability.

I played sk a few years ago, just came back a few months ago, and bought these guys which led me here to this vid. Rogue is fire. Dodge cd 1/2 second, next hit guaranteed crit. Players who like a challenge definitely won't be bored playing it, while casual players may not be fond of the hero. Assassin is awesome. Able to mitigate pretty much everyone's playstyle, suitable with any form of weapon of choice. Easy starter weapon, damage and defense condensed in one blade. More armor, more space for errors, easier to learn compared to rogue. Overall a good hero, good at everything but not best at anything and has weakness to any kind of playstyle. Needs good adaptation to different weapons and fighting styles under extreme scenarios. Best for opportunist players, not that good for face-to-face players though. As an amateur (and half a beginner), I can say that one who knows how to ace with rogue is godlike in the game, while one who knows how to play assassin can use literally any type of hero with ease. These two aren't easy to use especially when they're not fully upgraded but one can walk the dungeons like a park if they know how to play these two characters. It's down to preference tbh.
i agree when you said that the Doppelganger has a really bad AI. but keeping in mind that they don't use mana makes them really good. giving them something like a Machine gun type or Very High Attack rate and High Mana consumption weapon while you attract Aggro will melt almost any boss. its way better than the invisibility at the very least

@@josephsyrianacol691 too bad assasin has more invincibility in his skill and then can just dash towards him, and jack and mary gets outclassed by so many weapons, and the blood blade is a free late game melee, and if he charged and dashed he could have reached him before the 2.5 seconds
doppelganger is actually good for recovering shield as you can make your doppelgangers deal damage while you hide for extra shield. its useful for people who arent as good as the pros but can still be useful most of the time
This is SOOOOOOOOOO underrated. The quality is just-*chef's kiss*- oh and i personally think assassin is better for my own reasons but your opinion and explanation was off the charts.
Doppelganger is honestly among top 5 skill in the game if played correctly. Best way to play it is by giving the clones charge weapons(blood blade would suffice) and they will attack constantly without delay, so you're practically trippling your damage(basically better version of knights first skill).
I feel like Assassin’s passive ability can be extremely useful against some enemies (and especially bosses) like the Grand Knight, Grand Wizard and Devil’s snare (tho that boss is easy af anyway). I would bring up more but I don’t know their names. The only issue I’d say with blood blade is that if you charge it and use it against a few high hp enemies, it can put you in a terrible situation because it takes 2 or 3 hits to kill you and when you charge the blood blade it’s a kinda like going all in for an assault, because you’re putting yourself right in your enemies face.
I run invisibility on my assasin and its pretty decent. Paired with an upgraded blood blade, I can dish out an insane amount of damage after charging up. It also increases the effectiveness of the reflect buff because invisibility increases the attack range of meelee weapons, which can intercept bullet spam and reflect them back at enemies.
cartwheel is really good, the star 5 buff is freeze on crit (for the spin at the end), ehich gives you a lot of time to escape or take advantage of your really high quickmelee damage
@@gabe2892 i use cartwheel because of the long dodging period, it struggles only in rooms with no cover, but other than that it has high damage and (as i said) freeze, for escapes or for high burst damage

@@ThatNerdGuy0 its still meh. Also it doesnt have high burst dmg. Its just 5 per hit and 14 for short charge and 29 for full charge. And in order to freeze u have to go long/full charge which then leaves u vulnerable after bc of the long cd. Its simple just a better version of assassin's first skill. Dodge roll and iaido are still better than both. Dodge roll will basically make u invincible forever w an interval of .5 seconds while landing crits every .5 seconds. Thats really good dps and sustain ability. Iaido allows for quick engagements and escape. Dash in to melee then switch target right away. For bosses its really good too. Dash in to melee then dash out when boss attacks then dash thru the enemy bullets and start melee bursting again. And since u have 4 stacks u dont have to worry abt the cd. 3rd skill on first glance seems to be the best on paper having the ability to freeze while dealing damage on invulnerable mode. But the long cd is its biggest downside and its a balanced tradeoff which is why its meh. U still have to wait 3-4 seconds after the freeze expires on the enemy. And thats alrdy pretty long. Thats fine for room clearing. But against bosses that become more aggressive its not really a good skill. Even if u can dodge the bullets while u wait for cd thats just the skill being unreliable when it needs to be useful. Ig its only good for party plays where u can run towards the boss and freeze him for ur allies to dmg then just do you during cd. But for solo play iaido and dodge roll are the best
Honestly, I feel both are equal... Somewhat. The rouge's dodge may be more passive than the room-sweeping dark blade, but it is very useful. Also, the assassin's passive skill is quite useful as well since it can block bullets with effects like poison or burn damage which you can use against the enemy. If Rouge's Iado doesn't have auto aim (or if it can be used without paying...) then that would just make rouge a lot better since he can move during battle so much without risking running straight ahead to an enemy with a melee weapon. In conclusion, I use both. Both fit my playstyle quite fine
Doppelganger is actually extremely powerful when paired with specific weapons. The best example is grenade smg. Since the clones stop firing after a small burst, it automatically fires the missile, doing great damage. Its also good for origin mode specifically.
I been playing soul knight basically since it came out and some of my friends too and we’ve always had the narrative that rogue was basically top 3 worst characters and assassin for sure top 3 best, this has been interesting I never knew it was so popular, maybe I gotta play it more since I’ve basically never played with it and never even completed a run with it, great vid
There's me and my best friend who uses both in the same co-op run and demolish bosses. Despite the two pitted against each other they synergize pretty well.
Think doppelganger is bein underrated here. The ability to split enemies agro 3 ways in higher levels of matrix mode or against aggressive bosses is outstanding, and giving your free followers anything ice element will carry you further and is nore duplicatable than banking on getting a good selection of compatible abilities for a lot of setups. And if you've got bonus pets and a leveled follower squad and knight statue etc. Is a fun time bein a melee summoner. Also reflecting bullets by default puts him leagues ahead in my book as thats about my most coveted ability when Im angling for a melee build run.
every rogues gangsta until assasin players use a *speedy build that can unsheathe their swords in 0.1 seconds and deflect all fucking projectiles shot from the boss*

For the fact that you can use “Doppleganger” with multiple op weapons (ehem Buddy Nuke, Soul Call, etc) It’s still strong for how i can do but i agree with most of it’s issues
tbh the bullet deflection only gets useful when you have the upgraded starter weapon and double clone but even without the upgraded weapon it still does pretty decently

In conclusion, I use both. Both fit my playstyle quite fine
This video's quality is crazy good asf🔥🔥🔥
This guy talks about the game so well and not like it's a game I love how he talks about a game like its irl
Doppelganger is actually extremely powerful when paired with specific weapons. The best example is grenade smg. Since the clones stop firing after a small burst, it automatically fires the missile, doing great damage. Its also good for origin mode specifically.
Man you are smart :vvv very informational video mah bro
your videos are so underrated, like you put in so much effort and only get 55k views
never did it for the views
Damn those edits are nice
This is one of the best soul knight video i found so far definitely subscribe
Would be nice if there is barehand potential comparasion, since invisibility and cartwheel are the two best skill for them on barehand
Great point
The amount of effort u put on thies video omgg somproud
That intro was actually so fire
Doppelganger is good! If you have high damage/combo/just blood blade lol/bounce weapons, its good to use!
My guy your edits are amazing
i think cartwheel is an underrated ability, it has good immunity and speed, it also freezes enemies so its good for crowd control and escape.
It starts to get real broken once you are playing co-op with the rouge, assassin, and priest. (+ maybe engineer)
nah either wizard or alchemist
Everyone: in deep conversations about rogue vs assassin
Me: uses costume prince and stupidly runs into bosses...
Honestly I really enjoy playing alchemist because the second ability is soooooo fun
He finally remembered his yt password!
0:44
*Rogue* VS *ASS*
There's me and my best friend who uses both in the same co-op run and demolish bosses. Despite the two pitted against each other they synergize pretty well.
The ass joke was AWESOME 😎
New subcriber cus of the editing skill^^
Think doppelganger is bein underrated here. The ability to split enemies agro 3 ways in higher levels of matrix mode or against aggressive bosses is outstanding, and giving your free followers anything ice element will carry you further and is nore duplicatable than banking on getting a good selection of compatible abilities for a lot of setups.
And if you've got bonus pets and a leveled follower squad and knight statue etc. Is a fun time bein a melee summoner. Also reflecting bullets by default puts him leagues ahead in my book as thats about my most coveted ability when Im angling for a melee build run.
every rogues gangsta
until assasin players use a *speedy build that can unsheathe their swords in 0.1 seconds and deflect all fucking projectiles shot from the boss*
Man you're so underrated!! ;(
Just came from watching your wizard skill video and man you hit puberty
I was gonna go to sleep
But I must watch now
This guy need to upload more he has a future
Just subbed! You make the most high quality soul knight videos on youtube! I never expected soul knight content to be this high quality from a youtuber, considering it is a mobile game, which tends to be picked up by more low effort youtubers (exe youtubers, panzoid intros, no hate btw i used to be one of these and i know they are still growing and maturing as creators). Anyways thanks for fullfilling my dream of finding soul knight content that has the same amount of the quality as pc game content
I'm assassin user before and indeed I think rogue is better I'm using it now btw sick editing what the heck
9:20 you never see this happen but it's really easy with engineer to deflect a TNT
Me as alchemist main: we stay unknown and silent and chill
Elf and officer : HA WE CAN AIM PRECISELY AT THE TARGET AND HAVE HIGH CHANCE TO HIT EM
Berserker and rogue: we trick shot
For the fact that you can use “Doppleganger” with multiple op weapons (ehem Buddy Nuke, Soul Call, etc)
It’s still strong for how i can do but i agree with most of it’s issues
I just speed runned the whole game with only using assasin without using other weapons😂
nice editing bro!
tbh the bullet deflection only gets useful when you have the upgraded starter weapon and double clone
but even without the upgraded weapon it still does pretty decently
i agree,
but doppel ganger can do some serious damage with bosses if you have a good weapon
*Relizing the clone of assasun can homd anything
Clones: CHAOS IS OUR FUTURE
Omg it's that DL guy
Me and my friends thought of giving a high energy weapon to assasin's clones and you just deflect the bullets that are coming your way
Love the vid dude
I never expected the quality editing! Keep it up! What editor do you use?
sorry for late reply, but I use final cut pro
As an assassin main the main reason I play assassin over Rouge is his clone ability which is really good for minion and boss agro especially when they use ice weapons
