I saw this tour at The Salt Palace in Feb. '88 with Megadeth. That was the 4th Dio Tour I saw and without exception, it was out of this world. I got to meet Ronnie in 1994 in Austin by accident. What was cool was that they were doing a free concert for The Pecan Street Festival. He stepped out of a trailer to do a soundcheck as I walked by and I could not believe my eyes! What was even cooler was he seemed as excited to meet me and talk to me as I was to meet him! Dio lives on!
I saw this Tour at Philadelphia Spectrum with Megadeth and Sabotage. For some reason I only saw this Tour once. Saw the previous 3 tours 2times but this and subsequent tours only once.
When you say you saw this tour at the Salt Palace, are you talking about Salt Lake City? Curious because I'm SLC native. Dio's shows never disappointed and Goldy was on fire 🔥 !
I saw this Tour in West Palm Florida and many others along the way, As I've said many times...There's was nothing like a Dio concert and never will be. R.i.p Metal God🤘
@srvnumber1fan Sounds like the Dio I've heard of from so many others. He truly loved his fans and despite being a star for 35 years he never seemed to get over the fact that he had fans, and he always pointed out that without us he was nothing, such a humble and great guy... I never got to see him myself, was going to the Heaven and Hell show here in Stockholm the summer of 2010, and yeah... Rest in Peace...
Uma pena o Dio nunca ter dado a grande importância para esse disco entre outros tbm da carreira solo, é com isso, os set list eram praticamente os mesmo. Muitas músicas esquecidas por décadas.
I saw this tour here in Stockholm in ´87, this video represents how fantastic i remember it being, Ronnie is on fire and jumping around like he is 25 although he is 45 here. I will always be a huge fan \m/
Amazing how we look back and acknowledge how old he was even though 45 its still relatively young😜. Im 50 now and was 18 when i went to this show and 16 went i went to Sacred Heart and never crossed my mind his age back then, but yes..Dio started in Metal in his late 30's.
@@sds4life17 I turn 49 in November myself, i was 16 when i saw him in ´87 and i saw him a number of times after that. I wouldnt say 45 is young, but not terribly old either but singing like his can be quite demanding and also how many 45 year olds do you see jumping around that effortlessly, not many i would say, he is clearly in fantastic shape. He was 33 when he formed Rainbow with Blackmore, but i guess Black Sabbath is the band you mean when you mentioned "Started in Metal".
I SAW THIS BAND PERFORM IN THE 80'S DIO singer RONNIE JAMES DIO R.I.P. SAN ANTONIO * I WAS THERE * HemisFair Arena Demolished June, 1995. Also known as Convention Center Arena
Dio is the greatest fitness instructor created by man or God. If you listen to dio you won't just triumph you will already have triumphed, you can make an egg sandwich to dio and feel like you've just punched God in the face. Dio workout= automatic success. Dio is pure maniacal galloping frissian mare real life dnd mad abandon sexual battle glory period, exhaust in his raunchy fury and behold
