It's confusing because Vivek ji interrupted this time in his PPT😂. He never showed the complete PPT he brought. Anyways after watching video twice.. found that concept is very simple. Here it is in short: You sell weekly ATM straddle e.g. 44000 CE n PE and buy 500 pts away monthly e.g. 43500 PE n 44500 CE as safety. Adjustment(rolling up/down of profitable side) required on every 500 pts move. SL 4% i.e. 3000 Book pft 2% i.e. 1500. And most important... Dimaag nahi lagana sirf rule follow karna hai. Have done calendars so can say with experience it's the easiest form of eating theta like Pac-Man

I.e If Market is down by 500 points to 43500, then what I am supposed to shift, weekly short 44000 PE to Short 43500 PE or shift weekly short 44000 CE to weekly short 43500 CE. and also what to do with monthly long 43500 pe to 43000 pe or 44500 Ce to 44000 ce.

He did not explain the details of strategy properly. There should be atleast couple of back test to show when the strategy worked and in what situation the strategy fails. If you want to help retail traders then more focus should be on the strategy. It looked like they both did this F2F video just for the sake of doing it. Please take this as a genuine feedback.

Confused we have to change profitable leg or loss making leg into inverted strangle? And to what extend 1000 points (2 times 500) or it can be upto 2000 points (4 times 500).
I feel that Vivek Sir has asked good questions but the trader couldnt answer properly. It seems he was confused when asked to deploy a strategy not used by him. 😂

yes i too had that doubt,Looks like usually if the spot is at 500/1000 then weekly straddle with monthly hedge. But if spot is at 250/750 then it is ITM strangle. However in the above example this ITM is weekly or monthly, pls clarify

Pls clarify one doubt. Suppose you have initiated this strategy on 1st June. Now if you squared off weekly expiry on Wednesday or Thursday and take next weekly expiry on Monday or Tuesday, do you leave your buy hedge as it is?

This is one F2F , I didnt understood completely . Hence didnt enjoyed the session also. Adjustment was not shown properly and my doubts still existing. May be Vivek sir has not asked the questions properly or Ashwin ji had not explained it in better way. PS: Ashwin ji shoot 15 mins video again explaining the strategy and adjustments. Same should be uploaded by Elearnmarket by Vivek ji. Note : Good trader may not be good teacher also. Few ppl are good in execution but cannot explain it properly.

@elearnmarkets good informative video but a little confusion in adjustment part. After deploying the strategy if market falls by 500 pts then we need to bring CE closer by 500 points or we need to shift PE backwards by 500 points ? Hope you please clarify the confusion

in example he is shorting in the money strangle which is like near by straddle but he did it inverted ..isnt it ?

If 3-4℅ loss as MTM, do not do any adjustment, if 2℅ profit close the strategy.. If market crosses 1000 points, 4℅ loss hit.. No adjustment required..

Yes, you need to square off both side buying position and re-build as per Monday straddle (Credit spread)
