Aranas played really well but had 3 unforced errors. Going for that risky and dangerous jump on the 1 ball in rack 20 cost him the match. He should have given that push out back to Pin and made him take that shot. There is something about the table cloth and the rack that makes these matches very easy for world class players. Literally, they break with a soft break and make 3 balls, also the 1 goes almost in the top corner. Seems to easy for them.
James should've passed that jump on the 1 ball back to Ko. I believe that cost him the match? Also James missed a couple of really good opportunities. The difference between him and Ko winning.
Carl has been such a good comintator but this other guy was and excuse my french but dick rode Ko the entire time when hes down like i get it Ko is great but he was down 1 rack most of the match he was also putting down Aranas like that man didnt have 8 break and runs in a row ir was just annoying hearing the other guy when Ko got to the table
At that time, James Aranas wasn't really well known around matchroom events. Ko has won 10 ball wpc, 9 ball wpc, world cup of pool (and many other non-matchroom events) before. He was more popular and better overall. You just came here after James beat Ko and won the world cup of pool didn't you? Amateur pool fans 🤣
