The course is approximately 1.5 laps around the inside of the racecourse on the service road and is run in an anticlockwise direction.
It is very flat and has few turns.
When passing the finish on the first lap, keep to the right hand side of the path.
After heavy rain, the first 400m can have some large puddles.
You can either run through them or go on to the grass, but this can get muddy and slippy after rain as it is soft ground.
The start is on the opposite side of the racecourse to the finish.
parkrunners walk around the course on the tarmac road from the finish to the start.
The first timers welcome is done near the start.
Some parkrunners gather by the finish and walk round to the start and others wait by the start.
