To be a Traditional Catholic, means to embrace and follow the Traditions of our Forefathers. Traditional Catholics must go exclusively to the Tridentine mass (not barring good eastern rites), and in charity and humility and without bitterness protest and resist the liturgical novelties and ruptures of the 1970 Missal (The New Mass).

    * Note on Latin Mass attendance: I personally recommend you find an SSPX chapel if it is available, that way the preaching you will get will be guaranteed to be orthodox. If there is not an SSPX chapel near you, please go to your closest Latin Mass, just be aware that sometimes (not all the time), the preaching could have questionable elements due to the modern seminary training.
If there is not a Latin Mass near you, please find and Eastern Catholic (be cautious about certain rites) or Ordinariate near you.

I love using that Scripture passage of Galatians 3:28 to demonstrate that there is no room for either racism, classism, or sexism anywhere in the Church.
It takes down Nazism, Marxism, and the Sexual Revolution (Mysoginy and Feminism both) all in one fell swoop.

Catholic spanish empire, heir to Rome and the roman way, did integration of peoples better than other empire and the anti spanish black legend subject is not spoken about enough or at all in anglo/gringo cathloci circles. Hispanic hispanistas are popping up everywhere though for the past few years.

Does Acts 17 necesitate that a nation allow those of all ethnicities to become citizens of their nation? It seems that this exclusion would have been common sense for nations prior to modernity. It also seems that you are using Acts 17 to advocate for the abolition of the recognition of ethnicity or race as if it doesn't matter in the slightest aka this weird modern idea that nations are simply groups of those who adhere to a certain idea (ex. liberal democracy in America) as opposed to a group of those united in flesh and blood, heritage and tradition, language, etc. I don't see the problem with excluding those of other ethnicities, especially jews, from participating in the nation. Is not allowing one to participate in the nation a recognition that he is not created in the image and likeness of God? Certainly not. It is simply the recognition that one loves his own before others and that a foreigner's inclusion in the nation jeopardizes the interests of the nation by introducing foreign interests(ex. Arabs or Hispanics coming into America advocating for foreign interests). It seems that the vast majority of nations in Christendom prevented jews from participating in their nations, often forcing them into ghettos or even expulsion, not just trying to find a scapegoat for their problems as so many contemporary scholars try to say.
I know there is a lot there. In my opinion, you try to use grace (Acts 17) to neglect nature(ethnicity/race). This seems more Cartesian "ghost in a machine" as opposed to Thomas. I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Please correct me if I am wrong at any point. God Bless.

“The point here is unpleasant to modernity but critical to recognize: The United States, the greatest republic since Rome, and the British Empire, the greatest empire since Rome, may be said to have arisen from that three-cornered fort the Jamestown settlers began to build the day they arrived. But that Republic and that empire did not rise because the settlers and those who followed believed in diversity, equality, and democracy, but because they rejected diversity, equality, and democracy. The English, the Virginians, the Americans were all ‘us-or-them’ people. They believed in the superiority of their Christian faith and English culture and civilization. And they transplanted that unique faith, culture, and civilization to America’s fertile soil…This was our land, not anybody else’s. But today America and Britain have embraced ideas about the innate equality of all cultures, civilizations, languages, and about the mixing of all tribes, races, and peoples, that are not only ahistorical, they are suicidal for America and the West.” - Pat Buchanan

@@forrest.steeleAgreed. However, the problem is that-- even from the beginning-- America was always a multi-ethnic empire. And so, how can we definitively regard it as an Anglo-Saxon nation?

    • @forrest.steele
      @forrest.steele 9 місяців тому +4

@@Beowulf-zj8sy I think the multi-ethnic thing is really overdone. It seems that there has always been a vast British (English and Scottish) majority in this country, especially in the northern ruling elite and the southern states as a whole. It also seems that the other groups of ethnics who had any influence in this nation were vastly northern European (Irish and German) and more or less adopted Anglo customs and language within a few generations of their coming to the new world, especially the Irish. If you were going to say that this country was ever multi-ethnic, I think the only ethnicity that could compete with the Anglos would be the Germans, but I think its a large stretch.

I dunno man - the US was founded on Masonic and Enlightenment ideals, hardly something a Catholic like Pat Buchanan should be lauding. Just because an empire or a country is powerful doesn't mean it's good or virtuous. As another commenter here said, the Spanish empire was a better example of how people can get along. This "us vs them" idea Buchanan talks about is a protestant thing. This current idea on the right about "tradition, blood, etc" screams insecurity.

This is all very thoughtful. You focus on the philosophical and theological objections Catholicism has to Nazism and the Far Right. I take it you are a theologian and I admire you focus on your field of expertise. I think the historical factor in this matter is also important. In Weimer Germany, there was a Catholic political party -- the Zentrum (Catholic Center Party). It strongly opposed Nazism and formed a coalition with the Socialist and Liberal parties to keep Hitler out of power.

  • @PatrickKniesler

I think you have successfully countered nationalism and socialism and revealed the state paganism in even Italian fascism that goes unmentioned, but there is more to fascism. The good parts left are various shades of regency, medievalism, integralism, and true social justice. The most successful fascist movements were holding out for a strong monarch. Point people who fascism seems to appeal to towards reactionary political localism/monarchy. They come looking for a political solution to the present or a hint at where things may go next.

Race is not simply skin color, please look into the corrolation between race and IQ (the main determinative factor for social and economic status.) And what is generally called "the progressive stack," then you will see the major role genetics plays in individual lives, in families, and among nations.
Also please read the Popes from the past on what they said about the Jews and their rights in Christian Nations, as well as the Church Fathers, it is more similar to this platform than the liberal notion professed here of "All Men Created Equal."
I also disagree with Nazism and am a Monarchist, but not on these grounds. Thank you for the work you do. God Bless you, Archbishop Lefebvre, and Holy Mother Church.

Like a typical American indoctrinated based on his constitution and the Jews.
National socialism is the natural order of man. Man is naturally ethno-centric.
Catholics made up 1/4 of the SS units, a larger percentage than the unaffiliated, erroneously referred to as "pagan".
1/3rd if the Reich inner circle government were Catholic, which is consistent with the demographic of Germany.
Catholic Austria welcomed joining the Reich.
Catholic politician Franz Von Papen worked for the Reich government all through to the end.
At Auschwitz the largest religion of the SS officers was Catholic. The commandant was Catholic. Dr. mangele was Catholic.
You show a photo of Maximilian Kolbe. He wasn't killed by the Nazis for being Catholic. He wasn't killed by the Nazis at all. It's a lie by the poles to appease the communists who took over Poland after the war. The documents if Auschwitz shows that he died of pneumonia something he suffered from all his life, he had only one lung. The Nazis even saved his life while he was being beaten by another inmate.
Kolbe and his monastery were fascists. One of their priests even joined the Wehrmacht.

@El-Harto Except there was no martyrdom this is just based on lies told by the Poles who have a centuries long hatred of the Germans. It's modernists who have created a lie by re-writing who Kolbe was. His monastery allied with the Germans, and several priests even joined the Wehrmacht.

“Chakra King”, eh? Rather interesting name for a catholic. You’re either very young or very, very delusional, inexperienced, and and out-of-touch. Opposing social nationalism and fascism - if that is your personal position - is fine. But claiming the only way to do that is by embracing organised so-called “anti-fascism” is equally anti-catholic, if not more so. The term “anti-fascism” is deliberately crafted to appear innocuous and righteous, by the very same people and for the very be same motives, in the same exact way words such as “NGO” (non-governmental organisation) are. They do this so that it seems safe and easily digestible to the average person.
Anti-fascists are collectives of anarchists, communists, syndicalists, and other assorted godless, violent leftist vermin who oppose God, the church, order, hierarchy, Tradition, and Natural Law.
Pick up a book about the Spanish Civil War some time if you want to see just how self-described “anti-fascists” deal with Catholics, especially as that relates to priests, nuns, and monks. I won’t bother listing even one of their horrid atrocities they’ve inflicted upon countless believers, as it’s too gruesome. You, dear boy, have a lot of homework to catch up on.
