This band. And this song. One of the top most beautiful songs OF ALL TIME. The melody, the words, the voice, the instrumentals. Everything is perfect about this song. Whenever I'm down or stressed, I play this song and I instantly mellow out and feel better. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Wow, this storytelling / lyrical journey is sooo heartfelt....my grandpa just passed and this song really captures the journey of life and what truly makes life special..cheers, folks!

Heard this song for the first time a few months ago while traveling with my son to college and listening to a CD he popped in. Love it and had to come find it again here on UA-cam. What a great song!
I love this video and Stornoway. There's so much skill and professionalism here. I suggest listening to this with good quality headphones guys...the bass is incredible.

Wajeeha Abbasi haha me too. I was so sad when I heard they broke up because I never got to see them perform live. I hope they reunite one day. That would be great because Stornoway is a so amazing. Words cannot even describe how much I love their music.
I think it's just down to how tough earning a living in the music industry is these days... Unless you're willing to sacrifice your entire life doing endless tours, promos, interviews, etc, for years and years it's probably pretty tough... On a happier note, the lead singer is a Park Ranger at a wildlife sanctuary in Wales, which was probably his dream job all along!!
True. I had a chance to see them in Bexhill in 2015 but missed it because I had some assignment or something. Still kicking myself for that.
Aaaah! that warms my heart. I agree, it's not easy to be in a band. It looks fun but I can't imagine the pressure to perform well every single time you get on the stage!
