I am Belgian, had the chance to watch him play a few times for the national team and once for Dortmund last week against Freiburg. Seeing him live makes you realize the level of this guy, every touch is perfectly balanced. He steals the show every time. Somehow more important than DeBruyne or Reus now, he’s that good (in my humble opinion).

I mean Witsel does well to win the ball and make great passes, but the word "important" means a whole different thing. I always liked him and it's unbelievable how many different positions he can play on the level needed .. BUT seeing him in Atletico Madrid playing a pure defence position was a little bit too much.
