you gotta love the Golden Banana mine ....everything is rotten and wet .....we heard a dog down there years ago and tried to get him out but could find him .....down by the mine cars .... was hoping you found his body at least ....that mine has good Gold ore in Limonite down there ...worthe sampling but as you have seen everything is collapsing .... good job making it dow that far .... the problem is the ground is swelling out into the drifts .... would like to have know what is at the bottom of the main shaft ... imagine working down there ....keep'em coming sonny Jim and be safe down there
Sorry to hear about that dog…we saw no signs of it. I do wish this one was more accessible, lots of stuff buried behind those collapses! Thanks for watching my friend!
I always forget you guys are friends with Shango66, very distinctive voice when he starts talking. I watched him for years doing TV and electronic repairs before I ever knew he was a mine explorer!
The camera/lens rig that you use give the best/most "along with you" immersive feel of any of the mine exploring channels I know of. Really helps underscore just how sketchy this place is haha
What was said by one friend about friends and fun made me feel sentimental. Yes. That‘s what friends are for. I‘ve been pondering to ask if there would be the possibility of referring back to the map of the mine? I understand that linearity is quite the thing when exploring the topsy-turvy world of soon-to-be-soil.
That slab was large truck sized and depending on th geology, anywhere from 50 tons upwards. The on hanging above that you guy's crawled through was heavier. Ever seen a 1/2 inch thick human.? So dangerous. Always nice when channels such as yours post vids.....it means you've survived.
I've seen some crumbly mines before, but that one might just take the cake 😬! With all of that bad ground, did you hear any small rocks crumble while you were in there?

Hello from Australia opal miner here and that mine definitely has some really great examples of bad ground indeed
Wow, talk about "Bad Ground" being a severe understatement! Oh my, great film though, keep them coming!
That was a strange mine , but your commentary was nice . A Ring Tailed Boxy on your tail .
Sporty Plus!!! That's not a friendly mine!
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦

This mine was epic in all regards; span, colors, and danger.
Videos like this make me slightly uncomfortable. But they are still interesting.
Sick collab 🔥
Thanks friend!

Surprisingly no, I guess we got lucky! Thanks for watching.
Good evening from Southeast South Dakota
Looks OSHA approved to me 😬 13:27 Yeah, with the "hanging wall" basically 180 degrees very prone to slabs falling off the back. Sketchy!
They came across a square-nosed shovel. The first that i remember.
ive been in some scary shit and that is some scarier shit ! !
Ugly mine - so much groundfall & everything that can collapse seems to have done so: stopes, shaft, the back - nasty.
Nasty indeed!
