Hi there! I am new to your channel. I justed watched your about LA Metro's p2550 audiometric announcements. I was amazing! I rode these emu light rail train sets on the metro gold line 🪙 to Azusa and East LA with my Mom & Dad when I was a kid! And I still now ride them on the metro blue line 🔵 when I'm traveling with my Dad. I also like the update voices in train sets.
2:25 I could've sworn that it said: The next stop is: Pacific Coast Highway Station. Connect here with Torrence transit 3 and Rapid 3 towards Carson and Torrence.
I believe Justin Peed is the announcer for the E and A line. Though I am not 100% certain. His voice is formal here compared to his other dramatic voices he can do. For example, Monsters Inside Me.
@zevian-o Interesting. I'll look him up. I also feel like- after closely listening to the news video about the HR4000's completion at the Springfield Plant - the guy who did the original B and D line announcements is Les Jarett: who I know as the narrator of some of the Railroad Productions DVDs like The Trains of Galesburg and The Alphabet Train. I could be totally wrong, though. Somebody, please feel free to correct me.
Play the chapters in reverse order, and you’ll have it! I started at 5th St, where the Long Beach loop begins, so it includes all the stations. I don't want to make 2 separate videos because most of the content is the same.
@@rolandocontreras7373I'm pretty sure the announcements are the same in both directions. What they do is have separate recordings for each station, and they "glued" them together: ["This train's final destination is"] ["Downtown Long Beach Station"]. ["Thanks for riding Metro..."] ["The next stop is"] ["Pacific Coast Highway Station"]. This is more obvious on P3010. You can probably do the same to get the "final destination part" if you really need that.

That announcement was on the Nippon Sharyo P865 (The original Blue Line cars) and P2020
@@erickramos0414and the P3010’s until 2022
Maybe I have that, I'll check but it was 3 years ago if I remembered correctly.
I wish I knew who the person behind this voice is. He sounds great very enthusiastic. I wish we had someone like this on our San Diego Trolley.

I love this version of the A line la Metro announcements
The p2550 still has the spirt of the gold line when it saids this is instead of now arriving.
And they have much better audio quality when compared to P3010 for the Gold Line section
Thank you, this is very helpful!
I’ve been waiting for this
FINALLY I'VE ALWAYS WANTED THIS
I can tell its the p2550 set of recordings since the kinkis have the updated voices
p2550 also has much better sound quality for the gold line & regional connector section imo
Are you doing the other lines?
@@kevinquirarte2365 yep i've been recording those since 2021 but never had a chance to turn them into videos
@@njlinerfire
The p2550 still has the spirit of the gold line.
my ears hurt but this is amazing
What about from APU/Citrus College to Downtown Long Beach?

@njliner are you sure?

Already did that and will post a video soon!
@@njlinerwhat about the P2000 Siemens and Nippon Sharyos?
@@lacountytransitrailfan They don't run those on the A Line anymore
@@mattlovescatz only the P2000s are in service but the Nippon Sharyos, they’re retired
@@lacountytransitrailfan yeah, but they don't run anything below the P2550s on the A Line
