Reality struck tonight and a bit of emotion too. We are retiring in 13mths here in Australia. We have paid a deposit on a new MLT580 4X4 without even seeing one and prior to even trying vanlife. We intend to travel around the UK and Europe for 2-3 yrs before returning home with the Moho via Canada and the States for 12 mths. That's plan A and there's no plan B. We have since spent 2 weeks in a van in the Southwest of WA and loved it. We are flying over for 2 wks and will be attending the NEC show in October 2022 and a trip to Travelworld to see what we have bought. Thanks for sharing your journey. See you on the road one day hopefully. Fingers crossed you are back on track to complete your dream. Stay safe and continue to enjoy life to the full. It took more than 2 years to earn our 1st dollar .... so it is a lot more work than we thought it would be ... but we love changing our careers in our 50's and becoming digital nomads has been great for us !!
Talking on the train is permitted but talking really loud and being obnoxious is basically frowned upon. Many westerners come here to try to expose that to claim and boost their name

It took more than 2 years to earn our 1st dollar .... so it is a lot more work than we thought it would be ... but we love changing our careers in our 50's and becoming digital nomads has been great for us !!
