Saw the IJ over a week ago at their final tour stop in Maryland and Joe Gatto appeared during the final 10 minutes. Awesome surprise of him being there to support his best friends and their final show after 2 years of touring. The crowd, including myself, went crazy when Joe came out.
Impractical Jokers is and forever will be my favorite television show I have ever watched. It is a beautiful creation amongst 4 best friends from high school that we all wish we could have created 💯
You are amazing people and you all bring something unique to the show. We wish Joe all the best in his life and his family life... so glad to hear that you're all such good friends still. You guys make us laugh until we cry.... it's a blessing to see the creativity you all bring to the show... thank you for making the world a happier place God bless you all!
I'm not butt hurt about Joe leaving the show, I respect his autonomy to do whatever he thinks is right with his life. Even though he was my favorite joker, I still enjoy the show and get a lot of laughs out of it! And if I ever need a Joe fix, I can go online and watch his podcast or watch him on other podcasts, or I can even watch repeats of old impractical jokers. Carry on fellas!
He was going through a divorce. I'm sure part of it was he wanted to spend time with the kids more. And some of it was probably I don't want my ex to get half of my expected gains.
@@Ajn37MNm39fgyt7u He went on the road immediately, and he’s back with the wife. I guess he thought he was one of the Beatles or something and was better than the others.
100% false. Joe got divorced and that is why he left. He wanted to co-parent with his ex-wife which he has done. They have since gotten back together. He is not touring 365 days and not even close to it. He tours for a few weeks and then has off for like 12-15 days and then back out. His schedule if you look at it has been very flexable. He also has taken his kids out with him. Consider touring and doing 45 min shows is far less hectic than filming 20+ episodes of a show and then promoting it and then touring for 2 years like the Impractical Jokers did. He relied on someone else's schedule. Like I stated, co-parenting. He didnt have full custody of the kids so he was able to do his own schedule. If you follow him on social media he posts often about his kids and even when divorced, he still spent time with his ex. She went to his shows as did the kids. Cant do that on Impractical Jokers due to a more hectic schedule. Current tour from September to December he has 50 days off. If he was filming Impractical Jokers I am sure the workdays after 12+ hrs. Not 45 minute shows a night. 9/6-9/15 OFF FROM 9/16-9/27 (off for 11 days) 9/27-10/13 10/17-10/19 OFF FROM 10/20-11/1 (off for 12 days) 11/2, 11/7-11/10 11/14-11/24 OFF FROM 11/25-12/5 (off for 15 days) 12/5-12/7 12/12-12/14 OFF FROM 12/15-12/27 (off for 12 days) 12/28-12/30
As far as the show isn’t the same… the show is still freaking funny! Bowling for Dollars episode had me dying laughing (not the bowling part) but the guest they had in and the wheel of doom was freaking hilarious! The show is great with or without Joe but we do miss him for sure
agreed the show can kinda be hit or miss at times "some are funnier then others" but they def got more edgier and i love it lol.. the episodes feel way quicker tho like 1-2 bits and then a punishment i swear they use to do like 3-4. i guess cause the celebs but maybe instead of bringing in well known people they should try bringing in people that aren't so famous.. i love when they include the cast too i wouldn't even mind if they had just them doing most the bits with them. dan cast with the gum and shay with the pregnancy were good ones recently lmao... the older season where dan cast is the "ghost" just walking around in plain sight was great to
They did an episode at my dad’s store years back. The film crew came in and were talking to us about possibly doing another. Didn’t happen but i remember the producer saying joe was coming back. We”ll see
I saw an old episode where they said failure to do a punishment would get them kicked off the show and I wondered if he refused a punishment. I noticed in several of his later episodes he just fails rounds on purpose, immediately, because he refuses to do whatever.

Joe will not come back , and his friends know that and that never changed their relationship with each other , but it would be nice from him to at least come on their last ever episode
Been an IJ fan since the show launched back in 2011/2012 but I have to say, since Joe left, the show has gone down hill. Most of the guests are idiots and not very funny. So much of the show feels forced now and not that natural smooth comedy of just friends picking on each other. It's a shame, sad to see the show die
I love IJ. Have to like it the way they present it. Yes, it’s different without Joe, as it would be, but still makes me laugh my ass off. I wish the best to Joe and his family. Peeps have to do what is their priority.
@@Peppers19781978 for quite a while they were just people that they hung out with because they had friends in common. Of course things have changed over time. But they genuinely don't like each other quite as much. I've seen every episode of the show and read interviews and done research.
Well him as his wife were separating at the time he left, so he left to focus on his kids and getting his personal life in order but it was his decision. Him as his wife are back together (I think they have another kid but I have to double check that) so leaving the show gave him the time to work things out with his wife and grow in their relationship and for him to be with his kids.

In the last episode of the show, Joe should show up with Larry Bird in tow and say he finally found Larry.
Larry who?
The new episodes are significantly better than the "celebrity guest" format. It almost feels like we're back to the good old days 😂
