Had a similar experience and same overhead cam on Qatar Airways Business Class. Beautiful planes.. APR '23 LAX - (Dreamliner) - DOH - (A8350) - DEL So crazy looking at those cameras flying over Greenland. The Business lounge at Doha is so serene, youre in danger of sleeping through your connection. Truly amazing planes & airport. It reignited my aviation interest.
I also say thankyou and goodbye to all my hotel rooms. Fiji was 1989 for me. I had a Queen of the skies from Qantas. Hideaway resort. A Neighbour's star was there with family. A nice family. Good memories.
Oh, I've been sooooo waiting for a video on the A350. I love this plane! I loved Fiji's service on it too. We flew LAX to NAN on Viti Levu. Thank you Fiji Airways. Thank you Stef! It's nice to think that we flew on the same plane. Well, we had a 50/50 chance, right?
Your video production quality is top shelf Stef, having a photography/videography background myself I can see the work that goes into producing these videos. Keep them coming my friend. Next time your in Sydney we should try and organise a meet up for your followers based here. Enjoyed this one and looking forward to the next upload.
Another excellent review ,, Have been lucky enough to do the Fiji flight 4 times but not since 2015 ,, looking forward to going soon and also checking out the new lounge ( well new since 2015) at Nadi and will do as you have done and do the Sydney to Nadi leg to try the A350. Thank you for another great UA-cam .
Oh damn that business class life looks awesome! And they even let you use the A350 external cameras? That’s such a cool feature. Thanks for the review and I’ll have to see if one of my future flights can be to Fiji because your trip looked amazing. Cheers
You edit and shoot these videos really well, Stef! The humour always tops them off nicely, too. Did I mention the aviation content is why I actually watch them? ;-).
I flew on the exact same plane from Melbourne about two years ago. In economy ofcourse. Though I would of recorded the whole four hour flight! This plane specifically made me love the A350 and it's now my favorite plane.
Great video, Stefan! I went to Fiji a month ago and only got to experience the 737 Max 8 from Melbourne. Would have loved to fly on their A350. Either way, I definitely fell in love with Fiji and can't wait to go back. Thanks again from a fellow Melbournian UA-camr 😊
Stef, you’re definitely one smooth operator with the Gin! Guess who’s going to be able to go on another flight without Jacq next time? Sneaky, but shrewd.
Thanks for not saying stupid things like "Hey, what's up?" and not saying 'like' because of young inarticulate syndrome, and finally, avoiding the temptation to make statements sound like questions with upward inflections as the sentence ends. I shall subscribe.
Are they still serving ice cream on the flights? I remember flying with them 2013 and they served ice cream in eco. Btw. Did you try nice Kava while in Fiji ;) ?
They fly direct to Hong Kong, Singapore, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch, Honolulu, Pacific Islands (Tonga, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Samoa, Kiribati, and Tuvalu). Soon resuming the Adelaide and Narita (Japan) service in July.
While I’m appreciative of your ability, as a UA-cam influencer, to enjoy Business Class and airport lounges, your videos are of little value, to me, as an economy flier.
Can you stop with the cringe click bait titles and images? It’s disingenuous at best. Please watch the Veritasium video on click bait. For someone presenting as a professional pilot and making ‘professional’ content. It’s seriously not what someone should be aspiring to. If you want to reprise the aviation community, and grow your channel. Show how a professional acts, and that’s not trolling for clicks on UA-cam. Show good flying. Good insight. Good decision making. You can make good content, you have made good content. When the videos are too cringe for aviation professionals you have gone for content over aviation decision making. Clicks are important, sure. But aviation culture is more important, it keeps people safe. Please reconsider how you are growing your channel.

Can't wait for my trip to fiji next year

Looks impressive, can't wait to fly it!
It’s a very solid offering. Hope you get to try it soon.

Thanks Michael, great to hear you enjoyed your flight too.
Fiji is amazing like they are perfect landing good service like we had 3rd class but the food was still good😮

Keeping your wife happy is the key to a calm and satisfying life😁
Flying on this plane from SYD-NAN-LAX this coming Tuesday in business. Can't wait. Thanks for the great review, Stefan.
Come to Vanuatu - ours borders just re-opened!
Urgh early morning flights, never sleep well the night before!!! Love the special plant based treatment you got at Nadi lounge!

Great footage, 👍 Vinaka!
Absolutely amazing. Hopefully I’ll be there in the cockpit seat one day

First comment!!!😎
Love your videos
Thanks Aaron
omg! finally!!
Stefan Drury, thankyou for replying my comment
Didn't realise that Fiji had A350s plus the camera on the tail is awesome. Great stuff Stef, enjoy your weekend!
Yeah a couple of them going between Sydney and Nadi. And agreed, the tail-cam is the best channel on the IFE by a long way. Thanks Bryan.
I love those tail camera views. The best I've seen was coming into Singapore at night.
Great video, great place! I’ll second that about the pineapple! Best I’ve ever had by far!
Very well made 👍🏽
great video as always Stef!
I love the A350! I have been on the exact model on Fiji Airways and it was amazing!
Can't go wrong with Four Pillars. Especially the Shiraz!
Some airlines used to have a radio comms channel for a while where you could listen to the pilots and ATC onboard. I miss that.
I used to enjoy that in the US. Yes let’s petition to get that reinstated.
You edit and shoot these videos really well, Stef! The humour always tops them off nicely, too. Did I mention the aviation content is why I actually watch them? ;-).
Hi Stef! Another great one, but how did you the Gin through security???

Stef: let me show you the food!
Stef 15 seconds later: So this is the Nike store

No matter which way you can manage it, the International to Domestic transfer at SYD bites!
Great review Stefan!
Looks good

Nice plane
Nice plane, was supposed to be on a similar trip last month but didn't happen. Can you recommend the DoubleTree there?
Welcome Home Stef... how is EYZ coming along?
Are they still serving ice cream on the flights? I remember flying with them 2013 and they served ice cream in eco.
Btw. Did you try nice Kava while in Fiji ;) ?
Highwayyyy to the danger zone 🙌🏽😂
What I like is that you are not one of the preachy vegans, just enjoy the food.
Ik what their lounge looks like and there internet password is bulafiji hehe I went their yesterday
I am fijian and I am just watching this since im scared im not gonna be able to sleep
Namaste, tom case he, acha or nay
I wish Fiji airways operated more flights around the world then just to Australia and to New Zealand and a couple more I just found out.
They do fly to LA as well.
I think they also fly to Singapore. not 100% on that

@@fjphoto23 I did realise that they had that many flights.
They’ll be flying to Vancouver in November 2022z

You should have used only one can of glue.
Tooth paste and tea 🤮
Only orange juice is a worse experience
