There is a theory that suggest that Jumpman and Pauline was the parents of Mario and Luigi and even a had a younger daughter that was named Pauline the second. The Mario we know started off in Mario Bros and eventually made peace with DK Jr. in Super Mario Kart

My interpretation of the time line. This DK is now Cranky Kong. Mario and Pauline were very young during the events of the arcade game (presumably early 20s). The theory states that Cranky is the DK in the original Donkey Kong game. He would then have a kid named DK jr. Then DK jr would have a son as well also named Donkey Kong and DK jr would go on to become the new Cranky. This continues on for Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong 64 and finally Donkey Kong Country Returns
A Gorillas age is about 35-40 so Cranky I would guess is probably 33 or 34 and if Mario joined when he was 20 he would be in his 50s which honestly isn’t too crazy. Peach is only in her 20s so that’s kinda weird but if Big Edd does it everyone can.
So if Cranky Kong used to be called and then this random family member came in with the same name, then once Diddy Kong comes an adult, we are gonna have some rename-ception. Then DK jr would have a son as well also named Donkey Kong and DK jr would go on to become the new Cranky. This continues on for Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong 64 and finally Donkey Kong Country Returns

Nope gorillas age faster than humans they have a lifespan of 35-40 years so it would make sense for mario to still look the same age
A Gorillas age is about 35-40 so Cranky I would guess is probably 33 or 34 and if Mario joined when he was 20 he would be in his 50s which honestly isn’t too crazy. Peach is only in her 20s so that’s kinda weird but if Big Edd does it everyone can.
So if Cranky Kong used to be called and then this random family member came in with the same name, then once Diddy Kong comes an adult, we are gonna have some rename-ception.
Edit: I did some research and Donkey Kong is Donkey Kong JR's son, but Cranky kong is called Donkey Kong Sr. and it doesn't mention if he's a Junior Junior. Maybe "Donkey Kong Jr." could be his name for real.
