The most revealing thing about this story - not a single Jew and/or Israeli is given the opportunity to speak. You can speak about us, you can tell us what we are and what we think, our haters can speak, but not us. Never us. If you let me speak, for example, I would have told you that 'the river to the sea' refers to the entirety of the region, from the Jordan river to the Mediterranean sea. That IT IS in fact a call to destroy Israel. This is not an interpretation. If you asked the chanters if they support the two states solution - they would have told you the truth. But that would have been too... journalistic, I guess. Calling for the destruction of Israel is calling for the murder or displacement of the 8 million Jews that live there. It's a call for a second holocaust. If Channel 4 New doesn't think that a march in which the marchers chant a call for a second holocaust constitute as a 'hate march' - that tells us all we really need to know about you. It is with the encouragement of the antisemitic news media in the UK that this kind of violent antisemitism has become mainstream and acceptable. Shame on you.
