Practice Animation

It's incredible what you can learn by just searching it up a UA-cam. If you're interested in sprite animating yourself, I'll post the links to the videos I used:

Oh and I use Adobe Flash CS3, should've probably mentioned that. It's pretty much exactly the same as every other flash program but can render videos over 5 mins and has a preview window, that for the most part, actually works (Adobe Flash CS6 can go f**k off).
