Man of God we also want you to help us get out of the spirit of lust.. Discipline alone is not enough for us.. Help me Apostle OROKPO
Well, I think there are practical ways to go about it. Asides you renouncing it and rebuking.....one is watching the company you keep, scripture says, do not deceived, evil communication corrupt good manners. The evil company can be your phone, the things you watch on it, the things you listen to, the social media platforms you are on.
You can not be on TikTok watching all those videos and expect to be free, same goes with Instagram, etc.
You can not have Friends that says foul words all the time and expect to be free, no.. this things defiles your spirit and make you captives.
Another way is to study Lust...with scriptures, get all the scriptures that talks about it and study it.
Also you can pray for different things whenever the feeling comes, pray for the country, president, government, the church etc.....
Also you must hate it with perfect hatred!
Lastly Philippians 4:8 Philippians 4:8 For the rest, my brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things have honour, whatever things are upright, whatever things are holy, whatever things are beautiful, whatever things are of value, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, give thought to these things.
Fight it actively, in your thoughts.
