- President Bola Tinubu earlier today held a private meeting with the President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa in Johannesburg.
Before the closed meeting, President Ramaphosa thanked President Tinubu for honouring the invitation to attend his inauguration for a second term in office.
President Tinubu pointed out that President Ramaphosa's inaugural speech captured most of the challenges faced by African countries and the need for more collaboration among leaders and citizens to provide solutions.
President Ramaphosa was re-elected into office for a second term on Friday, June 14, following an agreement for a Government of National Unity between the African National Congress and the Democratic Alliance.

This Headline is misleading, Tinubu went to South Africa, yet you're saying Ramaphosa visited Tinubu in Johannesburg.... I don't get it, we are talking about Nigeria President in South Africa....
Headline is not misleading, it was only staged. Hence it would've been the other way round, because its my inauguration and people should be visiting me in my presidential villa... they should have staged it better, something like "President Tinubu, first President to be hosted by President Ramaphosa after inauguration"
