Congratulations on a beautiful scale model of One of my favourite aircraft. It was nice to see it flown at scale speeds. I had many flights in one whilst I was working in New Guinea in the late 70's early 80's. Safe landins.

What a beautifully made and flown model,so refreshing to see that the quality of flying fits the model which sadly is not always the case with these large scale models,well done for a visually stunning model subject.

What a great touchdown. In the STOL spirit of the real aircraft - great job. (yes the music score is a bit dodgy, but the plane is very cool)

Very impressive ... I used to work with the real thing way back (which had PT6-A Alison engines) when I was still with the Australian military... pre 1990. Very impressed with your start up sights and sounds ... That really brought back some memories there. Biggest draw back for me personally at that time, being 190 cm in height my knees were always pressing against the lower dashboard area. Sad to see we got rid of them, they were a really great STOL aircraft and incredibly versatile.

I forget to ask in my previous post, and so hoping you may be able to help me here ... I am more into RC gliders / sailplanes these days, designing, building etc .... Having had the experiences I had way back with Porters, I was trying a little while ago to remember or find on the web the approximate wing lengths/areas for both the Flaps and Ailerons? There are vague references here and there as to wing length, area etc but nothing specifically for the Flaps and Ailerons ... Would you mind telling me from your scale plans what the dimensions are for the total wing area, Flaps and Ailerons or are they just expressed as a ratio or percentage of the total wing surface areas? These aircraft have such incredible STOL attributes, that I couldn't readily think of a better platform to attempt to mimic from for a basis of RC design... Thanks in advance, Greg
Pilatus do their own model builders plan sets,you will find all the information that you need on those plans.
