Have you ever considered a sololocke? It's like a deathless nuzlocke combined with a sort of solo run. The thing is that you're allowed to catch all the different encounters, it's just you are only allowed to use one at a time in battle

The Hoothoot disrespect at the beginning smh. Just fucking around, obviously. If it has Insomnia, though, you want to use it as your main counter for Morty. You're only affected by Curse and Sucker Punch. Be careful for Mean Look+Curse, though, and make sure to carry a move that isn't an attack to avoid Sucker Punch. Cheeses the hell out of Morty better than any other normal type
Ive just always been bitter at the fact Hoothoot isnt part psychic type. Funny part is even without Insomnia Morty is such a joke that Not Pidgey was able to win super easily. But yeah with Insomnia its like 120% free, without its probably like 99%.
Nice job. I actually did one of these runs(not Deathless though) through a rom hack and I did make it pretty far. If not for the fact that two of my most used Pokemon I accidentally caught from the same route, I could've beaten it first try I think.

@@psyduckspice It was Pokemon Fire Red Omega, a romhack made by Drayano that includes all 386 Pokemon in Gen 3 as well as improved full teams for Gym Leaders and junk. And yeah, I actually think I remember doing a Soulsilver Nuzlocke with only one Pokemon of each type too in one try too. It's been a while though so I can't remember if it was just one try.
