I was a swimmer for 15 years before I started triathlon 18 months ago and still will only use Swedish goggles!!! I wore them in my first 70.3 this weekend (it was a rough ocean swim) No leaks no issues . The only thing I do differently to you is I don't double up the head strap
All the old school guys I talk to swear by the Swedes. I really like the double head strap with all my goggles; I pull one strap high and one low to get even suction. That's just me though.
Im a competitive swimmer and ive used these for almost 3 years now. The only problem I have with them is that they fog up really fast after a bit of use. Does anybody know something to stop this or reduce it because ive literally tried everything.
I use the exact same marker on my Swedish Goggles. The only problem I have with the Nabaiji marker is that you are not allowed to take off the swimming goggles during training. When the inside of the googles come into contact with water, the protective film quickly loses its effect and the googles start to fog again...
Good video, your channel is absolutely great, loking forward to your next videos! keep going! i also use swedish googles, they are great, the only uncomfortable thing is when you get hit in a mass swim start.
Haha, yeah I'll keep them reserved to the pool myself. I have a habit of getting whacked in the face a lot during tris, so I'll keep with something more cushy during races. Thanks for the message about the channel, that's awesome to hear! As you can see, I'm just building up the channel, so sharing anything you really really like with a friend or subscribing would really help me out if you're cool with that. Train hard man!
Got it, no more leaks, hard at the eye sockets... but sexy as hell... Everything you said here is truly true. I don't think I'd be swimming with any other type gogs anymore. Though I found it a bit expensive at 9 bucks Voit brand.
They are not cheap because they are not assembled, these googles come like this so you can adjust them to the milimiter. Disclaimer: If that was said as a joke and I just killed it, I'm sorry. :)

Just bought a swede googles. Trying to assemble. Great video!
Thanks just assembled one with the help of your video 👍
Just bought two pairs! Dirt cheap, 5 € each. Those look cool and feel surprisingly good

Hey check out Nabaiji anti fog marker, does the job really well👍🏼

@@jannis2914 yeah that's true, because of that I made a habit of not taking off the goggles during training.
@@sagaracharya1904 So what's the best method? wearing them while your eyes are dry before you enter the pool?
Little bit of saliva in the inside
What kind of knot?
Can you do a comparison between the Swedish and magic 5 ???

Thanks, great video!
Good stuff man and love the personality coming out too hah
Haha, be careful what you wish for!
Doesn't the nose piece stretch out with the elastic? I'd be afraid of the elastic coming out completely while swimming
Nope, doesnt
I'll be trying that swedes too... it's just so hard to find the unbranded ones...
Get 'em, you'll dig 'em!

Oh god. Why didn't I think of twisting it? :P Thank you very much!
Haha, total game changer!
Did you swim in a well?
