Thanks again for having me! It's always so much fun to watch these collaboration videos, and even more fun to take part. Happy reading the rest of the year!
Thank you so much for including me in this collab, Johan! I had a great time figuring out which of my awesome reads was my favorite for the year so far....-Cheers
Loved the video, all of you booktubers have been instrumental in keeping my reading pile varied. I want to give a shout out to the Winnowing Flame Trilogy by Jenn Williams, just finished it and it was absolutely amazing, a shame more people (as far as I can see) werent talking about it, such a unique take on fantasy.
I love this type of video. I get to discover new booktubers I haven't seen before, and on top of that I get a ton of great book recs 🥰 Love that you're bringing the community together like this.
Great video. I love how you use your platform to connect the community a show more likeminded creators, especially the smaller ones. And we get a bunch of great book recs in the process.
Loved this soooo much! My goal is to keep working on my channel so I will be ready to be one of the gang by years ends or middle of next year. As always thanks so much. What a community!!
Wow. Big mistake. Putting these randoms like Daniel Greene and Merphy front and center in the thumbnail and not the guys at 2ToRamble. I think this will severely impact your views. (Thanks Johan for letting us participate, you’re the man 😁)
Haha I loved the yelling introduction of Red Rising. Really fits the mood for the book(s). I'm excited to pickup The Sword of Kaigen soon as well. Hopefully it'll hit as well for me as you two.
i just recently came across your channel and immediately subscribed. i love what you're doing and how you're doing it. i used to be a big reader. unfortunately, life got real life-y and i stopped. i also haven't tried to get back into it as hard as i probably could have. thanks to your channel, i feel that fire again and im excited. so thank you
Fun 🤓🤪 my favorite stand alone this year is Reincarnation Blues. Green Bone is brilliant, The Fall is All There Is is such an amazing debut, Son of the Poison Rose, Beyond Redemption, Metal. Violence, Nopek Gloss, and Seven Blades in Black. Perdido Street Station deserves a special mention for being the book that I can't stop thinking about in good and bad ways 🤪
Hard question for sure, I applaud the people for being to able to choose just one. For me, Raven Strategem felt most nostalgic (Aster Blistok vibes), The Bees by Laline Paull deeply moved me (a surprise favorite, I almost DNFed in the beginning), and I can't stop thinking about Lent by Jo Walton. So far, a good reading year.
@@2ToRamble I ended up just diving into the entire red rising saga after the first book and just finished book six, what an amazing ride. Cannot wait for Red God!
Question. Bookborn says you have to read 5 books to get here. But isn't "The Trouble with Peace" book #2 in The Age of Madness series? Why is she saying you have to read 5 books before that one?
My favorite book so far in 2023 What my bones know by Stephenie foo memoir this book is so important because it deals with childhood trauma definitely worth a read for anyone who has suffered trauma in their childhood
I hate to be critical, but once again almost all of these book tubers seem to be only reading what’s popular recently. The two guys who loved Lonesome Dove are the exception. One of the trappings of youth and inexperience is that you always think what is current is best. If you delve into the past you will discover otherwise.
The only thing I dislike about these videos is the comment section being filled by comments from booktubers thanking the uploader for the invitation instead of comments discussing the actual books themselves.
Thanks to all the amazing creators that were willing to join this collab! ❤❤❤
Thanks for having me as part of the video! ❤
(Apparently I should have brought a gun too)
You can bring a gun next time 😆
Thanks again for taking part!
Bring a cutlass and a pirate hat!
The Wisdom of Crowds is one of my favorite books, and my favorite First Law book! Great choice!
I may have misunderstood the assignment.
Maybe you were the only one that understood the assignment 😆 thanks for joining!
Dan wtf 😂
You put your whole heart in things, Daniel, I respect that.
No one does it like you daniel.
But you understood the mission
Thanks for having me! Bloody hell, Daniel went above and beyond with the assignment.
Truly a hero!
Talk about in media res! I need to know what happens next!
Thank you for your recommendation - I finished it in two days! It’s fantastic!
He's always a little extra. LOL!
Thanks a ton for asking me to be part of such a wonderful lineup!
The honour is mine!
Thank you for the invitation to participate, Johan! It's always fun to hear about the stories that people are enjoying!
My pleasure! Thank you so much for joining!
best part is switching from Daniel shouting with the huge sword to Merphy in the backyard chilling and say hi with her sweet voice 🤣
They really are chaotic like that
The sudden cut from Daniel Greene's unhinged crackhead energy to Merphy's wholesome capybara vibes got a good laugh out of me.
Capybara vibes 😂😂😂
Thanks for reaching out to me, Johan! Glad I could be apart of this special collab!
I am so glad you could make it!!
Thank you so much for having me! Happy to be a part of a fun collab!

Thanks for having me on Johan! What a lineup! Should... should someone check on Daniel?
Hahaha!
Thanks for joining!
Haha 😆
As long as we remember 17-83-4 (and Bradley's an SOB), we should be fine. 😎
Hahahah this video is absolutely amazing! I am dying with Daniel’s video!!
Great recommendations! Thank you so much for including me!!
😆😆
Thanks for taking part! The Justice of Kings was such a good choice!
The hard cut from Daniel chaotic energy grabbing the dragonslayer ready for battle to ~~✨🌸🐥🕊️birds chirping🐦🌼✨~~ is comedic genius and I'm here for it
Daniel went so hard for no reason and I LOVE it so much 😆
Two Lonesome Dove and two Fonda Lee rec's--awesome! Love these collab vids
That’s such a stark contrast between Daniel and Merphy. 🤣 looking forward to reading many of these.

Daniel Greene understood the assignment and ran with it!

Thanks for joining!
Yes, everyone read Greatcoats, Fireborne, and Green Bone Saga! All amazing! And looks like I really need to move Abercrombie up on my priority list
Thanks for inviting me to be a part of the video, it’s an honour to be among these other faces 😊
Thanks for participating...daddy 🤭
@@libraryofaviking hahaha 😂 any time mate!
Yooooo your pick made my day! Kings of the Wyld is FANTASTIC.🥓
Thought the Green Bone Saga was not going to make the cut and then BAM, our last 2 heroes save the day 😊
I love when you gather the team together!
It was so cool to see all of these booktubers coming together for a collab! Thank you for organizing this, @libraryofaviking!
Thank you for watching 😊
Sooo happy to see Fireborne on here! And Sword of Kaigen!! 😍
Daniel being his normal self , haha.. and all the rest composed and calm. :) This was a great video!
So many off my favorites of the last couple years on this list. I'm definitely adding some of these I haven't read to my TBR list!
This is such a good video! Loved hearing from a lot of booktubers on this
Great collab! Further inspiration to get to The Dandelion Dynasty and The Wisdom of Crowds!
Keep doing these collabs I love this!
great colab video, love the pressure of just recommendation each! added a few to my list. thanks
Came for the book recs, stayed for the recs on new booktubers
Love this! One day my work will be on a list like this!
Working my way through red rising this week and im more than half done with it. It's soooo good!
They all sounded great! Added 4 of them to my tbr and put another few that were already on there a couple of spots higher

WELP, I was scared in the beginning but glad I got a book out of it.
and then the after videos was like rainbows and sunshines, caotic
Great video, thanks for the recommendations

Perdido Street Station deserves a special mention for being the book that I can't stop thinking about in good and bad ways 🤪
Think I have to pick "Before they are hanged" or "Last argument of Kings". I also got on the Abercrombie train and can atest to its greatness 😂
My favorites so far are Brandon Sanderson 3 secret projects followed closely by Lonesome Dove.
The transition for Daniel's insanity to Merphy's calm background gave me whiplash 😂
Do I read westerns? No. Is Lonesome Dove one of the best books I’ve ever read? Absolutely. I just regret not reading it way sooner.
Some tremendous recommendations here. Lonesome Dove and Shogun were the books that made me a life-long reader.
SUBSCRIBED. Your videos are so good! I just started a book tube/outdoor channel. My first videos are pretty cringe… but excited to keep growing!
Such a comment couldn't have come at a better time. Thank you so much! I really appreciate the encouragement!
Two Lonesome Dove recommendations! I read it so long ago that I could certainly enjoy it again. I do remember that I loved it.
For me, it's Engines of Empire! Shout-out to Elliot Brooks for the rec!
I might be biased, but my all my favourite people have *immaculate* taste, if you ask me!! What a great video, thanks for putting this together 🤩
Lonesome Dove. I read it when I was a teen and it still grips my heart just by hearing the name all these years later
Lol I loved this video, can't wait to see the second half in 6 months
Feeling rather stuck as to what to read next this has come at exactly the right time for me
The Cradle series is my fave of the year. Read all 12 and boy was that a great trip🎉🎉🎉
Hard question for sure, I applaud the people for being to able to choose just one. Loved all the reviews/suggestions!
How do you not Brian lee Durfee. Man reads faster that a printer prints huge knowledge
BLD's The Lonesome Crown was an extremely close second pic for me, but had to go with Jade Legacy. The five warrior angels series was incredible. 🤘🏼
Legendary lineup 🙌
Please please please invite Elliot Brooks next time
Jesus Christ that Red Rising line is INSANE 😮
After every recommendation in my mind I hear the raiding rainbow "dun-dun DUN!"
Heyyyyyyy it’s 2toramble. They’re fantastic.
Sam, you’re the best hypeman. 🥇

Great creators, great books, great video!
Thanks for the reviews! Great idea!
Thank you for watching!
Daniel Greene 🤣🤣🤣 Oh my word that was great
Love seeing Cam Wolfe on here
@2ToRamble Both of those books are my two favorite books this year as well. So f'n good.
Dude - RIGHT? Couldn’t get enough of them. Such top tier stories.

Oh, I am in love with Martha Wells!
The Will of the Many by James Islington
Ah, LOAV is Nicky Fury assembling the Avengers of Booktube
Daniel Greene reassuring 'bonkers...' as ever!

A question I’d have for all of you is how many books do you read a year?
Thank you for including me!
i got catfished by the daniel greene thubnail but im not mad about it 😂😂 subscribed
Hidden within: The Leaves of Crimson - Brianna Hinson
must read this book and be transformed now Amazon book title:Awakening The Inner Light by Viivik
My god Daniel Greene is always over the top compared to many Booktubers.
Daniel Greene 😂 Brilliant above and beyond 😊
I have read _The Wall of Storms_ halfway through now, and while I like it, I think _The Grace of Kings_ was much better.
Loved this 🎉
Daniel is the main character in my life and I’m okay with that
My favorite book so far in 2023
What my bones know by Stephenie foo memoir this book is so important because it deals with childhood trauma definitely worth a read for anyone who has suffered trauma in their childhood
I loved it, easy 5 stars and I will somehow buy the physical copy so I can reread it regularely. Truly an important and impactful book!

Daniel Greene.......I seen this guy get mugged in Columbus.
Out the front of a Burger King...he screamed take my wallet just dont touch my face.
Hot take... Red Country by Joe Abercrombie is better than the entire Age of Madness series. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
WTF does neurodivergent mean?
Pierce Brown is probably the worst author ever mentioned on here. Other recs are pretty steller.
