Yea why does that happen so much. Just had three games in a row that were all dropped immediately.

These team games are awesome to watch, I play with 2 of my friends as well so its nice to see some of the tactics that I've never thought of before.

Every casted video in the last week + has been a game that Lidakor casted originally in a tournament. As someone who watches both channels, I'd love to see some more unique games casted by you.

I think 2v2 would be easier to cast and I would like to see how each team of 2 goes about there strategies
Probably, but Lidakor made a good point on the original video that 3v3 is actually interesting in that it plays quite differently from 2v2, where as 4v4 often becomes kinda like 2 separate 2v2 games (or even more fragmented). But in a 3v3, playing the pocket is key - and you actually see the whole team coordinating to a pretty high degree. Plus, apparently, 3v3 is the most popular format. Surprising, but I guess that makes sense.
@@Cyrribrae Additionally, with the upcoming 3v3 tournament we will be seeing the pros practice this format a lot more. Definitely lots of 3v3 content coming our way.

this shows you how strong longbowman is in this game. You create something that forces the enemy player to work much harder to counter.

I wonder if anyone has ever tried dividing up responsibilities in a team game and acting as one massive 1v1 match? like have a team member work on Eco, one member work on infantry and artillery and another on cav and early harass or some other creative way of dividing labor. All along sending tributes between team members to keep a smooth transition forward if you know what I mean. Would require top tier coordination/communication though
you pay tax for tributes tho so everyone should focus on eco, but yeah you can make a combined composition with roles totally

@@zaganim3813 Ah the tax part sucks but I figure that's what they were already doing here with the french only making knights and the others making archers. I only wondered because the chinese could build all eco buildings way faster so Imagine getting tribute from your team members and you build like 8 TCs while pumping out 196 villagers + 4 supervisors
Happy New Year Drongo! Yeah I feel focusing on 1v1s is the way to go but I have to see more team games. I'm not sure how common it is to get all of these big name players into one but this is really great imo. Atleast one a week would be cool

I like both 1v1 and team games. Strategys are very different IMO.

@Aussie_Drongo btw once the 3v3 tournament commences it would be fantastic to see if you could come up with a Civ combination Tier list i.e. what combination of Civs works the best. It'd be very tough because of the various combinations possible but maybe a good video idea

Is it somehow possible to get this recording? want to get deeply into french build order
I for the life of me cannot play on unique color mode - they should make team based color mode a bit more emm Unique? As in Have them all be red but perhaps have different stripes for each different enemy? Something subtle so I can tell when I have 2 or 3 enemies at my gate.
The first few games are very difficult but it gets better with time, I'm now totally fine with remembering who are the 8 colors in 4v4
@@zilliq I'm too old dude, mind you I never used this in other Rts games or Moba's. First the units all look similar and then I have me being red and the enemy being a bright orange putting a tower by my gold mine that I didnt spot!
It's definitely a detriment to the playstyle - for example I remember in a team game not finishing a cripple opponent because everything was red. I believe War3 had a function to change colors in game wit button combination - that is what we need here.

Yeah russ horse archers are absolutely broken right now, easy to mass up and have the same fire rate as archers. No reason for russ to go archers if they can go horse archer and run around the map killing everything.

can you switch to team colors? its really chaotic like this and i couldnt follow pretty much at all who was on whose side. at least for the bigger fights, it would make things easer. anyway, have a good start into the new year and please do recover well

French teaming with Rus could've won by themselves, English did give them a solid hand tho
The game was just basically English+French vs the 3 while Rus free booms. When the Rus player reached a decent mass the other team automatically lost.
