I watched a video that explained xiaoge's history and background. Wuxie is xiaoge's connection to the real normal world. No one really truly cares for xiaoge, but wuxie does. Bc xiaoge loses memories every decade and he has no immediate family or friends he think that if he dies no one will notice or miss him. But when wuxie said he would...i guess that pulled something in xiaoge's heart. Plus in the original fanfic xiaoge was supposed to be a women disguised as a guy. But stuff happened so the author never corrected it and changed xiaoge into a male

After watching all the adaptations I am having a really hard time getting over this actors playing my favourite characters. It's like they merged with the characters. Now I can't think about the characters without picturing the actors and vis a vis.

Chemistry is amazing with this wu xie and zangh qilling but watched the pilot recently and yang yang chemistry is very strong too I think because you get to see the start of the chemistry and the pair in the first season really do work. Wish yang yang had continued but love rainco zangh qiling too.
