- This video took soooo long to edit. I had to make sure that this video capture Jimin's struggles from the begining and how the love he has for himself changed over time. I watched a lot of Jimin's videos and it took a lot of brainstorming so that I can get the right message out. I hope this video taught you about self love!
I love Park Jimin so much! He’s such a caring, genuine, hard working, and inspiring person. I can honestly go on and on about how great he is. Jungkook was my first bias and I just fell deep in love with Jimin. If I can have anyone as my best friend, it will definitely be Park Jimin. In this video, I will show you Jimin’s journey in accepting himself. Jimin wasn’t always the confident person he is today. It took him years to accept himself for who he really is and I am so happy that he himself knows how amazing he is. From debut until around 2-3 years ago, he was always insecure about his singing and his looks. He pushed himself so hard that he would pass out from over working and would constantly get muscle pains. He also went on a strict unhealthy diet to lose fast weight. Members would always say that Jimin is the most hard working member. He would cry over little mistakes and would always want everything to be perfect. Moving forward today, he learnt that it’s okay not to be perfect. He learns to find happiness in small things and that it’s okay to let loose sometimes. He started really learning to live in the moments and enjoy being with friends. He stopped picking on himself. He learned to love every little thing about himself, even his small pinky. I am sooo happy Jimin finally accepted himself and realized how amazing he truly is. I learned so much about self love from this guy and how to really cherish those around me.
Thank you Park Jimin for your existence. I hope you stay forever happy because you deserve all the love.

Something to point out, at the end where Jimin was crying and kook was comforting him, Jimin was crying because ARMY were singing along and it touched his heart, not because his voice was hurting him.

He always thought his singing lacked a lot. He would cry over little unnoticed mistakes in his performances even though in ARMY’s eyes, he killed them all. Moving forward today, he learned that it’s okay not to be perfect. He learned to find happiness in small things and that it’s okay to let loose sometimes. He started really learning to live in and enjoy every moments. He especially stopped picking on himself. He learned to love every little thing about himself, even his small pinky and height. He started laughing over little mistakes that he made on stage and not beat himself over it. He started changing the way he would view things. He would fill negative situations with positive thoughts.
I am sooo happy Jimin finally accepted himself and realized how truly amazing he really is. Isn’t it funny how someone as perfect as Park Jimin struggled with self love? Like if he was able to see himself through ARMY’s eyes from the start, he would realized sooner what an absolute perfect angel he himself is.
Let Park Jimin’s struggles with self love be a reminder to everyone that you are perfect just the way you are. It’s the constant battles you are having with yourself that tell you otherwise. If you change your perspective on how you view the negative things into positive thoughts, you will learn how to truly live happily in the moments. You will see that life isn’t as bad as you thought. I learned so much about self love from this guy and especially how to really cherish those around me.
Thank you, Park Jimin, for teaching me about self love. Thank you for your existence. I hope you stay forever happy because you deserve all the love. 💜

*▶He had no trouble loving himself/his looks till he joined BTS at 16 +was always #1 in all he did physically/mentally +girls chased him* > *"Who Is BTS-Park Jimin-Pre-Debut"*
▶He said he never fought w/his brother (even tempered), but boiiiz can be savage + BTS teased him the most espec. V + JK were the roughest (don't know why). He had to develop a thick skin, got feistier but then V + JK talk to him about his temper?! ?
▶Then malicious hate tweets from toxic shippers who hated his bond w/JK, saying he was fat?? when he was always the most fit, just had cute teen round-ish cheeks that would slim naturally. JK jokingly ranking him 7th then, didn't help. Glad that he worked thru his (totally unnecessary) unhealthy diet period & has been healthy for years. Rest has helped his confidence a lot, they were always grinding.
▶The thing is, he was always amaazing/gorgeous! That smile alone, the mesmerizing eyes + dem lips! He's a much more relaxed perfectionist now, who is good in everything! I admire him soo much, I can watch him 24/7, love his heartbreaking voice, slays me w/his incredible dancing/acrobatics/power + grace, his loving vlives w/that raspy soft voice, his sexy walk/style, etc, etc💜💜
@x x I think because Park Jimin's struggles is very relatable with what I went through, I am able to relate and understand him more. Being a perfectionist is exhausting. We seriously don't give ourselves enough credits... I totally agree. The Kpop industry is brutal... I feel like his confidence definitely dropped moving to Seoul especially since no other companies wanted him and that affected his mindset negatively in a way. He had to constantly compare himself to other trainees/idols which I'm sure played a huge role in his confidence which caused him to always think that he wasn't good enough. I'm just so happy he finally accepted himself and is using himself as an example for others to see. I think that is also why BTS is so loved around the world. They aren't afraid to be themselves, to tell others what they are struggling with, to speak their mind... like they are millionaires ... singers.... dancers.. yet we are all able to relate to them somehow cause they choose to not change and remain humble even with money and fame in the picture.

This video was honestly so deeply moving and inspiring at the same time. You captured Jimin’s essence so wonderfully here, I have no words. His struggle with self acceptance and self love is so relatable, it honestly speaks to me on a spiritual level. It also lets us know that at the end of the day, he’s human too; like you and me, like all of us. You’ve honestly created a masterpiece. I am sure even someone who has no idea who he is or who BTS are, will still be able to relate to this video and find comfort in it. Congratulations on a job so very well done. Hi y’all! I watched so many videos of Park Jimin these past few weeks. This video took forever because I kept changing out the clips...there were so many clips I wanted to include but I couldn’t fit 😭 thanks to those who recommended me clips! Let me know what y’all think of this video. I have honestly re-edit this video so many times to the point that I don’t even know what to think of it anymore. It’s like you know how when you take a selfie and then you look at it and think it’s cute? But the more you look at it, the more you start disliking it cause you was staring at it for too long? Yea .. that’s how I feel every time I edit videos because I just keep watching it over and over it again to make sure I’m satisfied with it 😭😭🤣🤣 I have issues... I really need to stop doing that cause not that I waste my time but it messes with my head lol and I can not multi task for the life of me!!! I couldn’t do other things I wanted to do because I wasn’t done with this video (how I feel every time I edit a video-like I seriously can’t do other things I want to do cause the back of my mind, I’m always thinking about finishing the video) so for the past 3 weeks, I have only been going to my job and editing this video 😭😭

You are right!! He struggled so much with himself because he was the one who always wanted to improve even though others tell him he did a perfect job. He was the one who always felt like he lacked. He's so inspiring!! Everyone can learn so much from Park Jimin. 💜💜
This was an extremely inspiring video, I had always been fascinated by jimin specifically since he had gone through many hardships in his life that i can relate to with my own life . I have been a fan of BTS for a long time since there debut and I love each and every member but jimin really stood out to me. His motivation to work hard and his portrayal of deep emotions he feels through his dance and angelic singing really enlightened me. I’m actually currently writing a speech on the topic of friendship for my English exam which I will have to perform in front of my whole class. I was a bit unsure and doubted my ability on portraying my emotions through words for this topic to my audience, but after watching a couple of videos on jimin’s journey to where he is at now is really inspirational to me. I was never a high achiever and always settles for the bare minimum but after watching this video I feel more confident to expect more from myself and work harder. As jimin has said “ no matter how hard it is right now, think of what the results will make you feel” I want to live by this quote and be an inspiration to others as jimin has done for me and many other army’s out there!!!!!!

My eyes watered at this, I hate to see jimin sad.i look up to jimin for alot actually, he's such a respectful and kind man, his soul is so gentle. He means alot to me even though I don't know him in person. I understand, speaking from experience how hard it can be suffering with self doubt, all thoughts running through your head like a marathon. It's hard. Even harder, because he is an idol, and there's certain expectations that I wish was never piled onto him and his members. There's a undescribable beauty in jimin's and the other members lyrics and singing. It hits you so hard sometimes you get emotional, that's what makes bts's songs special. They are unique, just like every member, especially jimin 💜. I also wanted to mention how beautifully this video was put together to show all the emotions of jimin and how he's growing stronger.💜. For anybody suffering with self doubt, or any other mental issue, stay safe and take care of yourself. Try your best and like jimin said, ' never give up on a dream you've had most your life'.

I’m really glad he said something when his throat was hurting. He realized that he was exhausting himself and didn’t feel terrible that he couldn’t sing cuz of his throat, instead prolly wanted to get better

There's nothing to insult about yourself, Jimin. You're perfect, your flaws are though I can't see any but you're more than enough.
I don't know how someone can hate a person like this. He is a legend . I love how he behaves professional even after receiving death threats. Even though jungkook has cried a lot more than Jimin on stage but still Jimin was hated for being a crybaby . Why don't people see , even other members make mistakes. But he is caught in the spotlight. According to me sometimes even the members overlook Jimin .

Watching Jimin grow from a young guy to a very handsome man was beautiful to see at the beginning. He really has grown into his own skin and finally seems happier there. When I saw this documentary
I wanted to turn back time, when he was hurt and miserable - because I wanted to hug him so tightly and tell him how perfect he was. He was there for you and me but we couldn’t be there for him for a long long time. I think if there is anyone who’s changed my life and actually been a good friend it’s jimin. So even though he’s doing well, the next time he wants to hide his throat ache as an army I need to be able to remind him that jimin ? You nice

Trying so hard not to burst into tears... Jimin reflects so much of my ongoing struggle. As a recovering perfectionist, I know just how hard it is to let little mistakes go. It's painful. It's so hard. And I struggle with it every day.
But Jimin and the rest of BTS are helping me get there, slowly.
I literally cried because I relate to him so much but he suffers way more
