@@yourexsenpai5831 I have a 75 gal tank that I started with Danio's the Leopard & zebra well they've killed each other to where I only have 3 Leopards & 4 zebra left from 15 of each so that's it for having them in the tank, I'm putting what's left in a 30 gal. I have 12 RAINBOW SHINERS on the way & was wondering if my albino Cory's would be o.k to stay in the tank with them being I'll make a rock bed for the shiners to drop their fry in.
I have a 55 gallon long that I've been struggling with trying to figure out what I'd like to stock it with. The first tank in this video is gorgeous. 😍 Thanks for giving me some ideas.
Great vid bro. I appreciate the time and effort you put into your content. Those are awesome looking fish. I saw them featured on another channel and knew I was gonna try em. Just subbed and liked. Looking forward to your next one
How long does it take for them to go from the sardine gray to the beautiful rainbow color? I got some a couple months ago from Imperial Tropicals but they only have a slight orange line down the middle. Have you had luck breeding them yet? Updates plz!
Yes I have had luck, check out my latest video :). I would say it took about 3-4 months with a lot of good feeding. These fish can REALLY eat. Try to feed them twice a day. Morning and night.
Love your fish, they are absolutely stunning like you said, I’m not sure if my local store sells them but u have made me want to start a tank for them , are they best in groups of 5-6? 🥰
Thank you! I’m actually currently breeding them and will try to put them up for sale online around August time. But yes! 6 or more. No less than 6 because they will feel stressed and skittish. We want them to feel comfortable in our aquariums.
@@yourexsenpai5831 absolutely want them happy , and I need to do a bit more research into them yet but problem is I live in Australia and I still can’t quite pull myself to get shipped fish, I feel sorry for them in bags lol I’m hopeless . I know a lot do it very successfully but I still haven’t got to that point, one day I will try it. I might google suppliers closer to home . But if you were close I absolutely would from you, I can tell you love your fish and I loved your delivery of your videos 😍🥰
I absolutely love this tank. Did you leave more than just one goby? I’m all about subtropical tanks and agree that RainbowShiners can be super rewarding…
I would say both a very suitable tank mates for a sub-tropical community set up. Just make sure there is enough food to go around as rainbow shiners eat a lot, but will not eat themselves to death like a betta fish would.

Dope tank man and nice vibe. Refreshing to have someone relaxed not yelling at the camera. You’ve got a sub from me
Thanks! It means a lot 🥲

Wow! They are beautiful. Gotta try this species ❤
Are those plants live? Beautiful setup.

oh damn... I'm setting up a high flow tank for hillstream loaches and you just sold me on these rainbow shiners. purty fish.
They sure are 😄
Beautiful shiner, love the white cloud also
Tastes are diffrent. To me, the smaller fish with red fins in that tank are much prettier. :) Rainbow Shiners are also beautiful fish.
You speak so beautifully
I’m trying to figure out how to do this exact combination of fish, they’re gorgeous. ❤
Got 11 minnows and thinking of getting some rainbow shiners, do they work well together and anything to watch out for,
i wonder if a whiptail catfish would make a suitable companion for rainbow fish?
Those are some really good looking shiners
do they turn blue or are yours the red breed ?
Beautiful tank dude love the rainbows,& gobies are 🔥🔥🔥
Great video...thx
Thank you 🙏🏻

how to make rainbow shiner look more red?
I have this combo with fancy goldfish and platys. Great tank! How long does it take shiners to color up?
I love goldfish! It takes about 6 months for them to color up and about 8-12 months for breeding dress colors.

Can shiners be with weather loach or dojo loaches
