Regarding steep roads - I enjoy them. I forget the name of the region that I think had an earthquake and had a super steep icy road. If you missed a gear change, you slipped backwards and your trailer went all over the place 😂 I actually got much better at shifting gears because of your hills. Going from high gear to Low Plus really quick became essential - and at the right moment to boot. And you mentioned the wood roads. In Haulin’ 2, the log road that we had to make was awesome. If you happened to get a front wheel over the edge, you were stuck! The devs use them sparingly and they are always short.
My first message to you is that I finally figured out how to add the rain and ambient stuff like that, I finally figured out where to put that. I have two new maps out 23 and 24 beta if you want to show them to the people you will see what I put into my maps modern days
hey remoh i also took a long break from snow runner came back just o play this map just my 2 cents coming from bc logging industry can yo make more logging points or even add very deep mud to landings where you can load trucks so you can actually use the skidders properly your not getting a f150 in the bush where skidders go also more trees that you can run over muddy hill climbs and no more rocks lol love your work keep it up
I'm thinking the next HH region I will make a main map as the town area and each map around will have a specific focus (one will be logging, one oil kinda thing) so I can really detail the experience. I am going to add some mud in the logging areas but nothing to crazy for this map
This region is a huge missed opportunity. For something called Highway Hauling, there’s very little asphalt. Half of both maps have no paved roads at all and when there is a paved road there’s a good chance you’ll encounter a ridiculously steep incline. The textures are buggy and there’s multiple broken missions that just make for a very frustrating experience.
Do you planning on making a highway hauling 3 remoh ❤if you do that would be fantastic anyway thanks for all ur hard work and looking forward to your maps in roadcraft in 2025
I'm pretty sure I will go for a third HH region after this one. I was thinking of having a main hub map and each map of the region will focus on a specific thing (oil, logging, farming...) The maps are fun to build and players seem to enjoy them

I will work some missions into the houses to make them a little more relevant. It's always a good spot for a recovered vehicle too

I'm pretty sure I can add it without messing things up. It will limit what I can do with missions but I can make it work.
