I like to watch the eating videos when I am eating alone. It just feels nice to have some noise and it's kind of filling the void of not having people around. When I was young we always had friends or family over so it's weird being an adult and eating breakfast and lunch separately or alone (my hubby and child are usually here for dinner).
I've been eating more from my pantry lately. I've also been really into watching pantry challenges/massive budget meal type videos. Even though a majority of them aren't vegan, I do get ideas and can veganize them. I need more vegan ones!!
Hey, guys. Fellow dry hander over here! Raw shea butter [yellow, not white] whipped in the blender with an oil of your choice [I recommend jojoba, coconut or avocado] for dry hands. Batch it up in tiny tupperwares or tiny mason jars and store the excess in your freezer. Use as needed, watch the butter melt away your dry patches. Great for dry lips.
For Chris: my hands get that way in the winter too. There's a hand cream at Trader Joe's that comes in a silver metal tube with a blue label. It's phenomenal.
Hahhaha at the end the whole “what were you going to say?” and you said dip in milk & chris said whip cream 😂 that little convo was so cute, I just had to comment! Love you guys! Great video, per uuuuusual
I also have really horrible hands in the winter, but I have learned alot the latest years... Never go outside without gloves! Always dry your hands after washing them, for real, it has changed so much, after really drying them out completely and not half *** it. And if I wash them a lot, as you do cooking and cleaning alot, then I have to use hand lotion, and I try to found one without aqua/water, sometimes I have to use plain vaseline over night. There is some good videos here on UA-cam with lots of good tips. It is some extra work taking care of my hands but it is so worth it, this has been the best winter so far after all the tips. Good luck!
Y’all are the most polite Mukbang folks I know. Also, my hands get sooo dry in cold weather (and now with all the extra hand washing because of the Corona Virus-ugh). Something I love ( for skin and hair) is avocado. When I make avo toast guacamole, etc., I never cut them. I peel them and break them up with my hands. Then, I rub my hands with the extra a I that won’t go in the bowl and let it sit on my skin for a few minutes. My hands look like they did when I was 10! Seriously. U can pay a ton of money for shampoo, soap, lotion, etc., with avocado, but I think u can just use the real thing on your hands. Also, u know when u have an avocado that is probably too too to eat? Open it up and smear it on your hands. Y’all keep being awesome!XO
before you sleep, put tonss of lotion on ur hands and then put socks on over. hands will be good as new if not overnight, after a few nights of doing this :)
Yes! i came here to say this! I use Vaseline though, not very natural or ecofriendly but it works! severe eczema over here. Cerave/Cetaphil work really well for lotions, idk if those are available in the US
@@alexandraburns760 I have full body eczema problems in the winter. I made herb infused oil for my dry skin. I used yarrow, comfrey leaves, and witch hazel bark and infused it into an extra virgin olive oil. It lasts for a long time.
I have made so many of your recipes and every single one has been amazing! I'm so thankful I found your all's channel. Your recipes has made the transition a breeze for me and my family. 💖
Moisturizing lotion after washing, then aquaphor. Any spots where your skin chaps and/or cracks is where you need aquaphor most. My favorite moisturizer is Dadi lotion.
Weleda makes some amazing lotion for dry hands! The pomegranate hand cream is vegan! (One of the only ones that actually makes a difference for me, when I apply other lotions they seem to disappear instead of absorb.)
That shrimp would be great with a garlic/white wine sauce like WICKED HEALTHY' s recipe, lots of parsley, some capers and not creamy. Always love your videos! :)
Chris might have mild eczema! I live in FL and got it really bad when I went to Canada. Your hands get dry and red and burn when you put them under hot water. I use a CeraVe moisturizing lotion that helps a lot! May burn at first but will help. :-)
That Alfredo has me drooling lol! Ill have to try it! Super intrigued to find vegan shrimp too. Shrimp used to be my favorite!! It’s the one thing I really truly miss lol
Honestly, in a lonely season of life so i love vlogs and eating videos because it kind of feels like connection....totally not healthy probally. Also, Ill put those on in the background if im home alone cause it gives life to the quiet. Also, less deep reason: just entertaining
I live in North Mississippi and I am living for all the new Vegan options at fast food / restaurants. I am a pretty new VEGAN, almost a year. I will never go back 🌱✌️ Y'all have helped me on my journey sooooooooooo much 🐑🦞🦐🐠🐟🐂🐇🐄🐙🐔🐣🐖✌️🌱🐢🦀🐋🐓🐐🐷
With the sheet of cookies that flattened out, I would have taken a glass and used it as a cookie cutter to cut out the cookies. Then with the scraps, they would make a great topping for ice cream.
Chris - coconut oil on your hands. Most hand lotions don’t have the oil content that really dry hands need. Also, try to soak your hands in a hot water essential oil (lavender, helichrysum, myrrh, frankincense, geranium, carrot seed, cucumber seed, sandalwood, ylang ylang, manuka essential oil -not from the honey, from the Manuka plant it’s self - Jasmine, hyssop, etc... a mix of all or some) at least once a week.
Rye waffles (well rye fluffy pancakes) As I don't have a waffle maker Are great and have a different flavour So they are a big tick The throw everything in soup Was a great idea as often we have Things left in the fridge that Need eating up. Another massive tick
Chris, I had the same problem with dry and irritated hands. I switched to Dr Bronners Magic Soap All -one hemp pure castile bar soap. I have not had a problem since. You can get it at Traders and Sprouts. A lot of the soaps are too harsh on our skin when used daily. Good luck. It will take about a month before it will clear up totally.
Chris, before you go to bed coat your hands in an extra strength moisturizer. I'd recommend Petroleum Jelly as it can help heal any cracks in your hands in addition to moisturizing. After that, I'd recommend coconut oil and lotion. Then wear socks on your hands and go to sleep
My hands get like that as well every winter. Very dry that they begin to crack and bleed. I started using lavender body serum from Franklin & Whitman and whoah it made such a big difference.
If you take a bath put some baby oil or add a little olive oil or coconut oil to the bath water, your skin will absorb it. Pure vitamin E oil is great for your skin for most anything. Even just massage Olive or coconut oil into your hands. I second putting it on at bedtime and putting cotton socks or gloves on your hands and sleep with them on. I'm in Atlantic Canada so I'm very familiar with dry winter skin.
so when you guys were looking at those jimmy dean pancake sausage things it reminded me of this place near me that has VEGAN WAFFLE DOGS for brunch. It's basically like those but waffles instead of pancakes. It's called UFO Factory in Detroit Michigan
Cerave therapeutic hand cream does wonders on dry hands...little late but hope that helps. I wash my hands like crazy at work and use it because I get dry cracked red burning hands. :-)
I have horrible eczema and it really flares up in the winter. Aveeno makes a hand mask that seems to work well for me. They sell it at target. Or tons of lotion then disposable gloves or plastic wrap and then socks.
I get super bad chapped hands in the cold weather and I just recently discovered African Shea butter OMG! I use it at night n by morning there’s u Hugh difference. Good luck Chris I feel your pain Food looks so amazing 😋
Great video! Thanks for showing the world how healthy and simple real-life vegan food truly is. P.S.I love the beer you're drinking, one of my favorite breweries. Lol
There's only one handcream that helps for me and it's called "working hands". I love in Sweden and my hands crack in the wintertime and it really hurts, but since I've had the cream I haven't had bleeding hands!
Chris, for your dry hands try Lord! My hands are so dry! By wild carrot herbals. My hands were getting so dry that they would crack and bleed. After I got that and have been using it for a while, it definitely has helped :)
I don’t see a link for the vitamins. Or did I miss it? All the recipes look amazing btw! I’ve had a package of those shrimps in my freezer for a while. Will have to try that recipe asap
You guys make vegan look so good. Unfortunately I have so many allergies, like nuts, celery, soy, tomatoes, seeds, pit fruits, fresh carrots etc, that I cannot see any way I could ever be vegan...
sympathy for the skin from Lush works amazing, or try using avocado oil on his hands before bed and wear gloves. I have eczema on my hands and that really helps :)
Jasmine showering her plate with nooch is such a mood.
Celeste Lewin 🤣

India from Afrykah this easy recipes sounds heavenly for my desert-dry hands. You are a life saver, thank you!!
The last few seconds of this video were just the cute/cheesey wholesomeness I needed after my day.
For Chris: my hands get that way in the winter too. There's a hand cream at Trader Joe's that comes in a silver metal tube with a blue label. It's phenomenal.

That vegan fettuccine alfredo looks so freaking good I want to cry rn cause I wanna eat it!
Lasang Halaman 🤣🙏🏼😍😍😍

Just saw this was 2 years ago, still keep this for someone else with this problem!
You two are so ducking adorable. And you two deserve more subscribers b/c I can tell you two are hard, good workers.

I can't wait until you guys get to 100k! You'll deserve it! Keep up the good work

Why was I cracking
Up when you guys were casually talking about eating noodles with your feet lmaooo
Y'all those pancake sausages on a stick are SO GOOD. I NEED one of these vegan companies to make one
I love this idea. I'm going to try to do the same
I have made so many of your recipes and every single one has been amazing! I'm so thankful I found your all's channel. Your recipes has made the transition a breeze for me and my family. 💖
Very excited for you guys!!!
Rose has mentioned that her mukbang portions look big because of the camera. She’s a genius. I love her.
Moisturizing lotion after washing, then aquaphor. Any spots where your skin chaps and/or cracks is where you need aquaphor most. My favorite moisturizer is Dadi lotion.
I have been using magnesium oil/ almond oil for my hands & it has worked wonderfully!
You two are adorable. Coconut oil is great for dry skin......good old fashioned Vaseline is good too, Working Hands hand cream is also a good choice!
I’m excited for this next chapter for you guys!!! Love your videos ❤️🌿
Weleda makes some amazing lotion for dry hands! The pomegranate hand cream is vegan! (One of the only ones that actually makes a difference for me, when I apply other lotions they seem to disappear instead of absorb.)
Watching older vids I missed. I was like , Chris is in such a good mood. Turns out in this one he had quit is job, ha! You can tell he is excited.
Love this concept for a video! Everything looked so good😋
That shrimp would be great with a garlic/white wine sauce like WICKED HEALTHY' s recipe, lots of parsley, some capers and not creamy. Always love your videos! :)
Love watching you guys!
It's amazing what you can come up with!
Chris might have mild eczema! I live in FL and got it really bad when I went to Canada. Your hands get dry and red and burn when you put them under hot water. I use a CeraVe moisturizing lotion that helps a lot! May burn at first but will help. :-)
7:47 that was awesome! Wow! 😀😀
Going to make that yummy veggie soup thanks for the inspiration!!!
You guys are just so cute, your videos always put me in the calmest and happiest mood!
That Alfredo has me drooling lol! Ill have to try it! Super intrigued to find vegan shrimp too. Shrimp used to be my favorite!! It’s the one thing I really truly miss lol

Kimberly Harris on the same boat here!
I live in North Mississippi and I am living for all the new Vegan options at fast food / restaurants. I am a pretty new VEGAN, almost a year. I will never go back 🌱✌️
Y'all have helped me on my journey sooooooooooo much 🐑🦞🦐🐠🐟🐂🐇🐄🐙🐔🐣🐖✌️🌱🐢🦀🐋🐓🐐🐷
Nivea lotion is great for winter dryness.
Nivea isn't cruelty-free, which is an important consideration for ethical vegans.
Amazing video as always. Greetings from Norway.
I loooove your alfredo recipe!! I've made it so many times and never get bored!
lmfao!!!!🤣 Omg Chris' answer at the end! "whip cream!" so random lol. Love you guys and all your content!
You guys are awesome always inspiring me to cook with different ingredients I would otherwise might not have used.🤤
With the sheet of cookies that flattened out, I would have taken a glass and used it as a cookie cutter to cut out the cookies. Then with the scraps, they would make a great topping for ice cream.
You added more of the song at the end! 😆🤘🏾
Jovial is my favorite brand for gluten free pasta!! I love the brown rice pasta
Corn huskers lotion is really good for rough hands. Works really good on men’s skin.
I have atopic dermatitis and eczema. The best thing for dry skin is a really good quality cream. One that's thick. And steroid cream.
Excited to see more content from you guys!!
Use Weleda skin food on your hands before you go to bed! It's pricy but it will help, and it spreads so you don't need much
The best for extremely dry hands is called bag balm. I used it back in the 90s and just bought some for my daughter from Amazon.
Okay shea butter in target is great and easily accessible. It's yellow so it might get yellow on some stuff but it's a great moisturizer
Rye waffles (well rye fluffy pancakes)
As I don't have a waffle maker
Are great and have a different flavour
So they are a big tick
The throw everything in soup
Was a great idea as often we have
Things left in the fridge that
Need eating up.
Another massive tick
You guys are the cutest I hope to have something like your love one day!
Love Petunias!
random can result in some amazing combos
Chris, before you go to bed coat your hands in an extra strength moisturizer. I'd recommend Petroleum Jelly as it can help heal any cracks in your hands in addition to moisturizing. After that, I'd recommend coconut oil and lotion. Then wear socks on your hands and go to sleep
My hands get like that as well every winter. Very dry that they begin to crack and bleed. I started using lavender body serum from Franklin & Whitman and whoah it made such a big difference.
Also, that cookie cake reminds me of Ms. Fields cookies
Coconut oil is your best friend for moisturizing
If you take a bath put some baby oil or add a little olive oil or coconut oil to the bath water, your skin will absorb it. Pure vitamin E oil is great for your skin for most anything. Even just massage Olive or coconut oil into your hands. I second putting it on at bedtime and putting cotton socks or gloves on your hands and sleep with them on. Do you have a suggestion for egg replacement for someone who can’t have seeds?
try mashed banana, apple sauce or aquafaba (it's the water from chickpeas) :)
so when you guys were looking at those jimmy dean pancake sausage things it reminded me of this place near me that has VEGAN WAFFLE DOGS for brunch. It's basically like those but waffles instead of pancakes. It's called UFO Factory in Detroit Michigan
Cerave therapeutic hand cream does wonders on dry hands...little late but hope that helps. I wash my hands like crazy at work and use it because I get dry cracked red burning hands. :-)
I'm late to the game on commenting but corn huskers lotion is amazing for dry hands!
It's nice to see internet stars have the same issues that us normal people do. "We're out of forks. Oh, the dishwasher is good." 😂
Chris! What is that beer you’re drinking!! I live in Maine and had it once and have been on the lookout for it since!
Looovvvveeee Petunia's. I wish they'd come to Seattle.
I have horrible eczema and it really flares up in the winter. Aveeno makes a hand mask that seems to work well for me. They sell it at target. Or tons of lotion then disposable gloves or plastic wrap and then socks.
Aveeno is NOT cruelty free. Don't know if that matters to some but it does to me. Pure shea butter is amazing for moisturizing and healing skin.
Linda Romanowski it matters to me but I make mistakes sometimes. I just got it one time and it helped. I will try to find something new though :)
You could roll up those cookies with some vegan vanilla ice cream for a delicious cookie roll-up :)
I get super bad chapped hands in the cold weather and I just recently discovered African Shea butter OMG! I use it at night n by morning there’s u Hugh difference. Good luck Chris I feel your pain
Food looks so amazing 😋
Chris, you should use iDr. Bronners bar soap in the shower and as your shampoo.
Okeefs working hands is what my husband uses... amazon or eBay... but he is not vegan so you will need to check ingredients! Or maybe almond oil?
These shregan vimps -Chris 😂
Best. Cookies. Ever. OMG I love that you included them. #reallife 💕
those shrimp look so realistic i'd be scared biting into it xD
can you use chia seeds in place of the flax egg?
Just discovered you !
I’m in love
Hey what’s matcha ? Is it better than coffee , I need to stop coffee?
Thank u
Chris, for your dry hands try Lord! My hands are so dry! By wild carrot herbals. My hands were getting so dry that they would crack and bleed. After I got that and have been using it for a while, it definitely has helped :)
For the soup was that oil on the bottom just curious. Hemp lotion does the trick Chris for dry skin. Well now to use up the food in the fridge
Chris, what band are you in?
Here is their link! bit.ly/The-Fireside-Story
Sweet Simple Vegan Okay I just listened to only one song, but I’m really enjoying the sound! Awesome job Chris!
Try putting coconut oil on your hands instead of lotion. A lot of lotions have alcohol which dry out your hands.
ohhhhh chile!!!!!
Random question! Where did you get your counter-top chairs from? So cute!
It took awhile to come to pressure because the food was above the max fill line.
Exfoliate hands with a sugar scrub then o’keefes working hands cream! Walmart should have it 👍🏼
Please do a review on the Tofuna Fysh based in Portland OR.
I don’t see a link for the vitamins. Or did I miss it? All the recipes look amazing btw! I’ve had a package of those shrimps in my freezer for a while. Will have to try that recipe asap
Charlene Straw thanks for letting us know!! We just added it :) bit.ly/SSV-Alpine-Organics
why is your pantry leftover food so much fancier than my regular food lol
Do you have any SOS free recipes 🙌🏽
Don't worry about what people think 🤔 y'all are amazingly beautiful people
Try Skin Hero lotion from Poofy Organics
Love vegan foods
Kamill is a vegan hand cream :) works great!
You guys make vegan look so good. Unfortunately I have so many allergies, like nuts, celery, soy, tomatoes, seeds, pit fruits, fresh carrots etc, that I cannot see any way I could ever be vegan...
Nice post dear
sympathy for the skin from Lush works amazing, or try using avocado oil on his hands before bed and wear gloves. I have eczema on my hands and that really helps :)
You guys are so entertaining! And Congrats Chris on quitting ur job!
