was wondering how long before someone did that, I was thinking of doing it myself, but I cant bring a Tripod in so using a Phantom 2 with a gopro would a little cheaky.. You need too get a shot hovering just above the ground 60 ft out at the centre line and as they take off lift too just above there roofs....

Roger That, I fully understand, also make sure the gyro fail safe makes it land off the track, It could be awkward dropping in on a $250,000 drag car, it probably wouldn't worry a Sprint car.. As for the email, your (staff)circumstances at the track have changed, I guessed I wasn't required , I imagined I would have received a note from the office too say it was in the pile or a thanks but no thanks..
Its not a problem, Your a hard man too catch ! I know your a busy man, cheers for the You tube reply, and I enjoyed the Video of the Camera Directing.
