Sabito is actually at fault for the weakness of the demon slayers, since he made sure NO ONE but him died that day. You’ll see later what Giyu thinks and his survivor guilt

if murata didnt trip over himself, the slash he went for could've easily been one of the most powerful in the series, he could've definitely one shot anyone in the cast, even muzan. they just had to tone his strength down a little bit for the game.
