  • I made this to solve the problem of dents (e.g acne marks) where the support was when removing the support after resin 3d printing.
    For those of you who are interested in figure printing, I made a video with one small tip.
    It's not a perfect setting, but I'm currently printing well with that setting.
    However, it is natural to print out a very thick or full print, but if you increase the overall diameter, you can print a smoother print.

    THANKS for the tip. This has changed my life. I primarily print statuettes like you Necromancer and they come off so clean it's pathetic. I've watched a million videos on supports and this one was the first that actually was usefully in making the supports effective yet easy to remove with little to no damage to the model.

    this! always wondered why people prefer those pitholes versus something that can easily be sanded down.

    I adopted this technique after seeing your video many months ago. It works very well, but I still have the problem of some supports ripping while printing. Could you share your lift speeds? I understand speeds vary from machine to machine, but it would be good to get some idea of the speed you are printing at
    Thank you, your videos are awesome, I can't wait to see what you make next!

    • @JacksHobbyChannel
      @JacksHobbyChannel  Рік тому +1

      The print speed was not touched at all in the initial settings.
      I'm using mighty4k 8k, so I think you can check it out on Cheetoobox.
      If the supporter is torn, it will be a matter of thickness, so it is recommended to extend the thickness of the upper part from the basic state, rather than simply exchanging the diameters on both sides.

    hello. your settings are wonderful. did you manage to repeat them in the new chitubox? having hard time to replicate it.
    also, could you maybe share the rest of the settings for the middle and bottom?

      서포터를 어느정도의 두께로 했느냐, 모델의 크기가 어느정도 이냐에 따라 다르겠지요. 정답은 없는 듯 합니다. 여러번 출력을 거치면서 느끼는대로 하는 것이 맞는 듯 합니다. :-)

    잭님의 다른 영상들을 보면 중대형 피규어들이 많은데 설정값 직경 0.35 / 0.30 밀도 90%로 모두 동일한가요?예전에 시도해봤는데
    밀도의 문제인지 서포터에서 출력물이 인쇄될때쯤 떨어져나가더군요 ㅜㅜ

    • @JacksHobbyChannel
      @JacksHobbyChannel  Рік тому

      아니요 모두 동일하지 않습니다. 경우에 따라 훨씬 두껍게도 합니다.
      제가 영상에서 말하고자 한건 오브젝트쪽의 두께를 굵게 하면 안으로 파이지 않는다는 것이고요, 출력물의 종류에 따라 가늘은 서포터와 중간두께의 서포터 두가지를 사용하면서 출력합니다.

      @@kensaiix Depends on how you trim it.
      If cut the supporter finely with a knife in the first place, the result will be the same.
      But in my case, to make it easier to trim, I first tear off the supporter by hand.
