Even though she was not my most favourite character from the show, I was very happy how they decided to portraite her. Her portraite of modest, faithfull, christian wife who is not shown to be super strong female lead was very needed. Not only they stayed loyal to real life Clarice especially with constant reminder of her religion and faith but also created very believable portraite of early renneisance women. Also not only Lorenzo did not attend her funeral, people of Florenc did not attend as well, because she was not popular there. So sad. I miss this show a lot, it was awesome.
Just got back from a trip to Florence and went to the Medici Chapel and other Medici famous sights. I was shocked to learn that the graves of the Medici wives (sisters and mothers too) are in unmarked graves (albeit in the Basilica) whilst their husbands obviously have these massive tombs to commemorate them. Just shows how incredibly unbalanced those time really were.

It just shows the magnificent Medici family just thought so ignorantly upon the ladies whom handfasted to them and gave them good eugenics
