Childe boss will counterattack you to death if he got attacked by “hydro” in the 1st phase or “electro” in the 2nd phase. That’s why Childe died fast. 😊 Edit: This kind of damage is only received after breaking Childe’s shield with close attacks. You can fight him with ranged attacks without taking damage.
It isnt when he gets hit by it per say it's when it's a lot of dmg kind of like a jealousy thing that's why the Barbra didn't die immediately if you do like over 10k dmg it will trigger but I think it has a range so the Barbra 23k didn't kill her

to support your point, i reached AR 55, and i only started playing little less than 3 months ago. i only managed to explore liyue and mond. other regions are unexplored, yet i am already this high in exp points. i am still learning, and i only found out that childe has counter attacks to hydro and electro very recently. i mostly still unga bunga bosses, but i am learning. all this just to say that high AR doesn't really mean anything and since with high exploration it is very easy to get exp, don't think that high AR players in co-op automatically are good/know how domains work. always assume your co-op partners might not know things and don't expect much from them.

Many still try to go all out against Azhdaha even though he stops taking damage while he's transitioning to a new element and then they just get beaten down by his aoe stomps. It may still show damage numbers, but his health doesn't go down until the cut scenes are over.
Yo I swear. Childe woke up this week and chose violence. Me and another random co-op person died right off the bat too during the first phase. We were both so confused. He literally one shot us back to back. I wasn't the only one who experienced this I see.

This is just how Barbara mains. May not be how Hoyolab intended she be played but it's how the mains have Labbed the Hoyo. I'd build her this way too if I had the dps and patience to farm for artifacts to get her there.

Idk, I dodge almost whenever I can, but it's incredible when you stand still for a moment and see that no one knows how to read the enemy or that they have shitty reflexes (no offense). Especially when sometimes I have to go with Bennet, people either dodge too soon or just move forward trusting that they are not going to die, luckily the characters can afford to eat 4 attacks in a row without dying, because you leave these people a mh or a darksouls and they refund it.

I have been a Barbara main since Gengshin was released until about a month ago when I swapped her for Kokomi but will forever be grateful to Barbara for bringing me back to life when I’ve died in battle (I have her at C6) And for teaching me how to dodge 😅 I also started using zhongli recently and getting very used to loving not having to dodge every few seconds….tho I may go back to my old team bc it just feels wrong 😆
I used to be DPS Barbara main. But... my artifacts is for like AR35. Which just makes her less powerful than my wanderer. I could grind it but... i would be wasting resin for a character i havent used in like 2 weeks xd (i use Qiqi now).
barbara more like barbarian btw ocean hued clam is great for her, Her burstl literally becomes a nuke(4 piece ocean hue makes a bubble that accumulates healing and turns it to dmg)

Barbara can do 100/200k vape charged pretty easy, for a catalyst her NA multipliers are pretty high. 35k is pretty standard eh
