Ricordo bene mago Pollock, oltre la sua bravura, l'eleganza, era un uomo molto affascinante, i suoi occhi verdi erano carismatici, bellissimi, indimenticabili!!!!
He used to stick a deck of cards in his mouth when I wasn't looking. Then he would produce the deck after talking. He showed me dealing hands to several players on a table. Everybody had a good hand but his was better. I haven't a clue how he did the things he did. Amazing
Thank You The Ed Sullivan Show for sharing this wonderful act. But please !!!!! His name is Pollock and not Pollack ! And why the hell did you remove the original music and illustrate with this cheap waltz tune more suitable for octoberfest ? You may not be aware of it, but this guy is a legend and actually invented most of what you see : he event started a trend among magicians who copied his act, while never reaching his class & artistry. A true Master. You wouldn't like to be called the Ed SullivOn Show ? So please correct his name and put back his original music. Would you have the idea to change a color in a Michelangelo painting ? This guy definitely was a Michelangelo of magic.
Great act , but The Ed Sullivan Show I have to ask you: what is the deal with this cheesy generic music you have overdubbed on Channing Pollocks's act ?!! Ugh, that music is bad and is not representative of Channing Pollock's style . Also, you misspelled his last name as "Pollack" , but it is Pollock. UA-cam viewers can search out a much better filmed record of Pollock's act by searching for "Magician Channing Pollock Dove Act Magic" . (I note you have done the same thing to other acts who appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show", dubbing over generic canned music to replace the original music used by these acts. Is it just because you are too cheap to pay for the music licensing rights to the original music ? C'mon, show more respect to the variety acts that MADE the Ed Sullivan show what it was .)
Not to spoil this great show...but the birds have to die during this right? I always think about the scene in the prestige when i see old bird tricks like that. No way the birds survive the cage collapsing into the table like that.
No, the birds don't die in the act. Do you honestly believe after every show a magician has to go out and buy 10 new doves and train them?? Really?? You're simply letting people know publicly that you don't know what you're talking about. 😆The scene in the "Prestige" movie was for dramatic effect. For future reference, when you watch a "Superman" movie the actor doesn't really fly either. LOL!! Don't believe all you see or imagine in movies or the news.
Should this be 1969??? Jozy Pollock, his assistant and wife married him in 1968, THEN became his assistant, shortly after divorcing him due to his addiction.
Is magic and we don’t explain. If if we did... why would you want to know? Don’t you feel better for being able to appreciate the art? Wrong question right there girl

@@laksiwmthdb9947, many people want to know how the tricks are done. Very condescending to a woman.
