Thank you for your great video, Hans. We are about to break ground on a new 180 m2 home in Huay Yai and would like to consider equipping it with solar power. What are the lessons you learned during your project, and what recommendations do you have for us? There are multiple vendors in Pattaya, yet you picked a Bangkok one. What are your reasons please?
Hans thanks for sharing your insights. Clearly a Swiss quality installation delivered by Rolf's team. I am curious: What was the monthly power bill for the house before installation and what is the monthly bill from PEA now that the solar panels have been installed?
Quite informative! I am strongly considering an investment in a ~6 kW on-grid [hybrid - some batteries] system. I'd like to go fully off-grid but the costs [for batteries] are quite expensive; regardless of the projected savings. I also think 700,000 baht is quite expensive for an on-grid system.
I am currently installing a 5kW grid-tie system myself with only high quality components for only about 110,000 THB (including the tools i need for the installation except the drill machine). This price is without the battery of course. But as you can see, it's not the system that cost the most. It's the installation fee. I am not doing this professionally. I just needed to reduce the electricity bill and fortunately I know enough about electricity to get it done myself after a few days of research.
Congrats Mr. Fritschi, very inspiring - thanks for sharing! Hope to do the same one day :) Would you mind sharing the total cost for the installation, materials etc please?
Loved the use of the elevator, every solar company should use these. It would save time and also great for the solar workers health & safety.
Yes, quite impressive.
Hallo. Schoene Anlage, die Du da gebaut hast. Machst Du noch eine Kostenaufstellung? Danke

Love to put these panels on our roof in Udon ... great video!
Thanks a lot!

It's one of them how many Thais does it take to put them panels up lol
Thanks for sharing this! Could you do a review telling about your experience with it and the things you learned in the past months?
Thanks for your suggestion.

Congratulations.😊😊👍👍
What is your feedback after 1 years of using your solar panels? is it worth it ?
Absolutely.

The total costs were about 700 000 Baht.
@@hansfritschi5724 In Thailand is there an option to sell excess energy back to the energy supplier as you can in the UK?

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Anlage.
How much?
is this system on or off grid?
When the batteries are "empty" the system switches automatically to grid.
Was kostet der Spaß Gruß aus Udon
Leicht unter 700000 Baht.

Do you need a city permit or to notify the power company or do you just plug in the inverter and the meter runs backwards?
We do not send energy to the grid and therefore need no permit.,
8-years to get your investment back sounds like a long time?
Not really.
what is the cost of everything you have set up..
and how much you can have running on solar cells
The whole system did cost me about 700000 Baht and I save at least 7000 Baht per month.
@@hansfritschi5724 which means 100 months for ROI?
Should of been around 350.000 wow that's expensive

Can you run airconditioners at night with the batteries ?
Yes, about until midnight or 1 am, then the system switches automatically to grid.
