In this episode I move forward on the painting job leaving the Racer Spaceship almost 100% done! Join me as I do the chipping and the wash process in this model as well as some masking to create the mysterious number 11!
This is a scratchbuild project model project that was made using a bunch of trash plastic pieces and some 3D printing.

another way to prevent leaks is to color inside the stencil with the colors your going over first so here it would be painted red and pink and then white aftwerwards

Should have had white stripes between the colors with black stripe between the white. Would have looked amazing.
It has been awhile since I had been here to watch your outstanding videos. I believe that with the chipping method, a metallic paint base would work out great. Even different shades and colors due to different metals would be a nice touch. I have a great deal of parts and gribblies for my own project, but taking my time. I have lots of paints and tools to use from my interests of 1/64 die-cast automobiles customs. I am very much inspired by you my friend.

Gorgeous (orbital racer?) build so far! Can't wait to see the finished product. If there's ever a chance of the racer skimming the surface of a moon/asteroid, assuming it orbits it at high enough speeds, the bottom of the ship could be more weathered than the top?

Hi. Maybe I'm one of your biggest fans. The form and structure are great as always. But I don't feel comfortable (I know it's a ship, no a sofa) with the colors. That's my only concern. Congratulations for your gift and show.

The only comment I can make about the detail is that could you not have put the names of your top Patreons (kind of like race sponsors) on the thing before battering up the paint?
Details are awesome but not a big fan of the color scheme. It looks like a toy. Mad skills on everything else.
It's a racer. Racecars etc always have bright, loud colours. And yes, pink has been used many times. One of the F1 teams used an all-pink livery a few years ago.
