💬Story :
This boy found one of the rarest LEGOs that had been lost in the sea 27 years ago. After spending two years searching for the LEGO relic of 1997, this boy named Liutauras finally found one of the black octopus LEGOs known as the holy grail of LEGO on the Cornwall shore, in the UK.
But what makes it so special?
Because this LEGO was one of only 4000 made in the world, and all of them, along with another 4 million LEGO pieces, were lost in the sea after a cargo ship was hit by a heavy storm on February 13, 1997.
This event is famously known as the Great LEGO Spill and is also the largest toy-related environmental disaster in history.
Although there are many offers for this octopus LEGO, this lucky boy decided to keep it as his treasure.
According to the BBC, you may find remnants of this LEGO treasure on 40 shores from the UK, Ireland, the US, to Australia.

The most expensive LEGO piece ever sold, according to LEGO records, was a Gold Bionicle mask LEGO, fetching an impressive $18,000. What's fascinating is that it was found by someone in a thrift store and bought for just $800.
Still pretty expensive but worth at the same time also first
Ll
I have one of that
A Lego brick was auctioned at online auction house Catawiki for almost 19,000 euros. For that price, the buyer does not get a plastic copy, but one of 25 grams made of 14-carat solid gold. It is the highest price ever paid for a Lego brick
That was a month ago or so, wasn't it?

the octopus told him to keep it so he did because he figured 9 brains should know that to do
Whos watching this after Alexavierstudios reacted to it??
I’ve never heard of anyone in Australia finding Lego’s from the negligence of the overloaded ship
And you guys are wondering where the Microplastics come from😂
Oh shoots i have that octopus… an alligator, some chrome swords, dragons green and black
Great example. Why we shouldn't pollute the water. It just ends up in the shore.
You can find a black octopus for $1.50 up to $24.
So that’s where all the micro plastics are coming from! 😂
"The LEGO One piece is real"🗣🔥🔥💀
It’s probably not the one that they’re thinking of because there was over three or four sets made with black octopuses with them
No, it was the special bricks, such as gold 2x4s, Mr gold, marbled bricks, and the asteroid 2x4s.
He:-.....(some name)
Me:- Hydra logo🗿(from Marvel)
The thing is. The rarest Lego piece is not the black octopus, it is a brick that transforms into a small dragon. So stop lying
Wrong, it’s the gold Lego brick or the gold Bionicle mask only given out to employees (by the way, one of these two rare items were actually found in a lost and found store it was gold Bionicle mask)
Me having one in my Lego collection without knowing it’s rare. Me:my grandpa gave me this
sea creatures before 1997: NO LEGO GONNA BE KILLING OUR FEET
sea creatures after 1997: pls help were suffering from lego
False, it’s not the rarest lego piece, maybe in that shipment, but that octopus has been in over 100 sets since its introduction in the early 90’s
That's the biggest legal I ever heard
Even as a kid, legos just never did it for me. ….but god DAYUM I really want that black octopus

Rick...I'll give you £5 for it as I'm taking all the risk!

Bro that is not the rarest Lego piece 🤨
If he was obsessed with find it undoubtedly his guardian planted it
But ALL of them fell into the sea... I beg to differ considering I had one as a kid
He found One Piece!
The octopus is not a rare piece
It's specifically the ones from the spill that are rare due to them being the smallest amount of a specific piece in the cargo container
